I do Teacher Appreciation events at my local high school. For Confrence Night Dinner this month I decided to try a new place, and while I have had success with Firehouse in the past, I have never tried this specific location.
I was overwhelming happy! I intend to return to this Firehouse in the future instead of the one closer to me. Thy individually wrapped the sandwichs in clear wrap so it is easy to see (something other Firehouse have not done), and I got plenty of plates, forks, napkins and even pickles (none of which I got from other Firehouse Subs locations).
The subs are a great value (something I appreciate trying to feed 150 people), and tasty (this dinner is always a hit when I bring it in). Plus they had everything ready, fresh, just as I can in at the scheduled time.

Ordered on the app. The subs were ready when I arrived. When I walked in I was told they ran out of bacon plus my bread wasn’t toasted. When I got home the subs were soaking wet. Not sure why there was so much water on the subs. Not pleased with this experience. I should have been advised prior to my subs being made that there will be issues with my order. Do better Firehouse.

Updated review: on 2/26/26 @ 12:20pm *order was picked up via Door dash, threw sandwich away after 2nd bite bc there was hair in my sandwich, which is something that will make me literally sick..called and let them know that firstly I don’t want a discount or anything bc I wouldn’t be able to eat it anyway but they should consider hairnets and was hung up on…Very Rude and disappointing as I really enjoyed their food. Had the Meatball sub on garlic bread and macaroni and cheese..was Delicious! Best mac & cheese

Not happy with service/food, the minute I walked in the store I felt unwelcome from the look on the crew member face, he did not want to serve me, I gave him my order and he stated “ I said wait a minute “ I repeated my order and he began making it, once it was finished I got it and headed out on my way to work In Kentucky, on road I opened the sandwich container and was grossed out at the look of the meat he deliberately put on my sandwich, roast beef was super black, dried out and the other meat looked slimy, I wasn’t about to eat that, it was trashed, when I return back home I should receive a refund in full.

Went and place an order and they didn’t put on the meat and cheese. Went back and explained the issue and they only put the meat on. Asked the guy specifically if he put cheese too, but yet when I got back out to the car, no cheese. Gave up.

The food here is always consistent and fresh. The bread is so good. Employees are friendly. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had an issue. Great place. PS. as a minority female, I am totally confused on another review I read from another minority female who hinted at racism or bigotry. You also get your own drinks just like at a lot of other spots. SMH.
