Yesterday, after a long day without food, we stopped on the way home for a quick [late] lunch. Hubby ordered a sub with no bacon and I ordered a sub with no cheese .. we get the order, hop in the car, drive the 40 mins home, just to find bacon on my husband’s sub and cheese on mine. We double checked the order ticket, and it clearly stated no bacon on his and no cheese on mine, so they messed up both sandwiches. We weren’t about to drive all the way back to Athens to get this fixed, so we were stuck with what we had. While my husband was able to pick the bacon off of his, I wasn’t able to remove the melted cheese from mine, and since I can’t have dairy, my sandwich was not salvageable. So not only did I miss out on my lunch, I was also out the money it cost for the meal. Made this very tired, very hungry, breastfeeding mama quite upset. Yes, we should have checked the order before leaving, but we were both tired and had our 6 month old baby with us and just wanted to get home and eat something. Regardless, it’s your job to make sure each order is correct before handing them over to the customer. Please do better.

Luis was terrible. I’m not usually one to complain about service but this was bad. He wouldn’t stop talking long enough to actually listen to our order. I’m not sure if he was just stoned out of his mind or if he’s always like that. I told him what I wanted for sure twice, possibly even 3 times due to him getting distracted by other employees and he still got the order completely wrong. Waste of $30.

Have been to this location multiple times and it’s overall terrible. Wait times can be up to 45+ minutes. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve said no cheese due to dairy allergy and have to have them remake. This time around I called in a to go order 40 minutes prior to arrival. I paid then had to wait 20 minutes for me to finally go up to register and ask them to read off the name of the to go order sitting on top of the bread toaster…which ended up being mine. Come to find out this sandwich order is also wrong…shocker. Athens peeps go somewhere else if your wanting a sandwich unless you want to wait forever and have your order come out wrong.

I ordered hook and ladder…no bread, carmalized onion, no mayo, no mustard, cucumber, extra pickle. The last 2 times I have ordered it has not been right. So glad I went in tonight.The staff did a very good job. Got my order perfect and in a timely matter. Thank you staff 12/ 6/25..5:38PM

Large and medium size sandwiches with a bag of chips and large soda drink $27. Worth it. They don’t hold back on the sandwiches and great flavor. Highly recommend over their direct competitors in town.

Ordered an Italian medium sub with lettuce, tomato and provolone cheese. Added mayo, oil and vinegar. What we got was stale bread, barely-there meats, no tomato, no lettuce and no provolone. When we were ordering, there was a shift supervisor who said all the ingredients were ok. Because of the way the counter is set up, we couldn’t watch the food being prepared. And when it’s presented, it’s already wrapped and in a bag ready to go so it couldn’t be checked.
Nice, clean restaurant probably more conducive to eat-in than take out. And a better chance to fix an order.
We’ll probably try another store before we scratch Firehouse off our go-to list. But right now, Subway is #1.

Well we went in today and Ordered a captain’s club, a club on a sub and a hero sub to go. We got home and had two of the captains subs and the hero sub. Needless to say one person didn’t get to eat because of it. Had no cheese had onions when they was told no onions. All around experience was very upsetting. Had 4 workers and it still took 30 minutes to make these sandwiches. The receipt showed 2 clubs on a sub and the hero. And no they wasn’t busy at all we were they only ones there. So cannot give a good review at all.

If I could give half or negative stars i probably would. To see the manager vaping in the corner of the restaurant while a pregnant woman and children were present in the lobby was disgusting really. We ordered 2 sandwiches and with 3 people behind the counter it took almost 30 minutes. They were doing more socializing than working. I think next time I’ll drive to Cleveland before I eat here again

My family loves this place. The food is always really good and it is quick. Can seem a bit pricey for “subs” but Firehouse’s service, accuracy of order, and taste is better than any other fast sub places.

customer service was horrible. asked for a gluten free bun for a allergy and was given attitude. soda was horrible and the machine was dirty. don’t recommend the people here.
