An iconic late night hot dogs, burgers and great milkshakes kind of place. It’s a food truck meets ‘trailer’… decked out in red lights. Always friendly staff!.. And very good shakes.

Got 2 dogs all the way (meat sauce, mustard and onion) pretty tasty dog but I don’t think it earns the $6.50ea price tag.

I normally don’t write reviews but I just want people to understand this is NOT the same firehouse it once was. I went there the other night and got two wieners. To my absolute shock they were $4.25 each. Even with inflation thats a lot for a “weiny”. Regardless the lady was super nice so i said whatever and paid the $8.50 for two hotdogs…. I got in the car and opened the container and was in absolute horror. This is what i received pictured… a boiled hotdog on a walmart great value bun. The lady was super nice but the wieners are just not up to par. I haven’t tried anything else so i cant speak for it.

The owner is always wonderful and pleasant. This is my second time eating here, only bad thing was that the steak was a little burnt.

Always love these guys. Especially those Wednesday Thru Sunday late nights.
Probably shouldn’t be eating at that hour and its definitely not that often.
But, love them. Service is amazing.

Let me start by saying that this is Definitely Not the original firehouse!! It only looks the same! Stopped there late night and ordered a steak and cheese and a few wieners .To start with the steak was way over cooked and tasted like the grill hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time! The wieners tasted good. But the price!! $4.25 each! And to be clear they are the same size as you get at a NY system wiener place!
I was getting food for 3 people and the total cost for the food and drinks was $85!!
Long story short. The quality, taste and the price of the food! Makes a return trip very unlikely!!!

Absolutely overpriced…$21 plus tip for some weak SHAVED steak sandwich…I could of made a month’s worth of them at home for the price I paid…NOT the steak and cheese sandwich that FIREHOUSE had growing up…get a real steak and cheese sandwich (not cheap shaved steak) from Onleyville NY System…menu was a little misleading too bc it listed shaved steak and cheese for one price and then steak and cheese for a higher price, so I thought it was a piece of steak like firehouse once had…never post on here but that’s how disappointed this sandwich just made me…where’s Matty D on that grille when you need him…so dissatisfied!!!

Recently under new ownership. However, there are significantly more menu items and now shakes are offered. The prices, for the most part, are decently fair. Great for a quick bite with a group of friends or somewhere to eat in the wee hours of the night. As a local, this is a recurring place I find myself, and I’m glad the new owners improved on the establishment.
Update roughly a year after that: I’m significantly disappointed I can’t give higher than a 5 star review. This place is amazing and I can’t be more thankful for an establishment as great as this in my home town. Calling this a staple is an understatement. The very Fibre of North providence lives in this business and it should be protected at all costs.

Lil local spot in front of a bar, lq store, Dunkin, and laundry mat very popular location, too bad the food is over priced and awful. Most stands take pride and serve only the best. Not them lol. $9 for a chicken Parm sandwich. It’s a dollar store chicken patty with salvation army marinara sauce they don’t even melt the cheese and I could make better marinara sauce in my sleep……it’s not hard crushed tomato, paste, seasonings, simmer until done. BANG good sauce, but y’all got some dollar store nonsense going on. Not feeling it. Maybe it’s cause I cook and most people don’t not sure but 4/10. Escada is always popping though.
