If you’re looking for the best chicken in Tampa, look no further than The Firehouse Grill & Pub. This place is always busy—and for good reason.
I personally love their chicken wings. I usually order all flats, and they always accommodate it as best as possible, which I really appreciate. This time I ordered the 10-piece garlic parmesan wings with fries, and they were absolutely on point—crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.
One of my favorite things about Firehouse is the carryout window. Since they’re always packed (because their chicken is that good), the window makes grabbing food to go super convenient without having to wait inside.
You also have to try the potato slabs—they’re a must-order. The carrots are always fresh, and the wall décor adds an extra touch of fun and character that fits the vibe perfectly.
For a true hole-in-the-wall bar, The Firehouse Grill & Pub easily has the best chicken around. Consistently great food, great flavor, and totally worth the wait every time. Highly recommend!

We’ve eaten here a couple times. My son loves wings so we are always looking for new wing spots. We always order wings and we order the buffalo or garlic parmesan. The wings are small, which is ok, because we like smaller wings. The flavor is pretty good and you do get enough dipping sauces. The only negative is that you have to call ahead, you can’t just walk up and order. So sometimes there is a wait. But the food is good.

Rude staff with stupid order outside rule and the food sucked.The chicken Philly was the worst I’ve ever seen and had. Look at this mess. The chili was cold and flavorless. Wings were decent but everything else was horrible.Why risk going to a terrible neighborhood for that crap.

Attempted to dine in. I sat with my family for almost 20 minutes with absolutely no one acknowledging us. We eventually approached the bar to ask the bar tender about service and he rudely said “I know, I’m coming”. Finally, we decided we’d just settle for offering at the window. Was told we had to call the order in. Attempted to do so 3 times with no answer. Very frustrating experience. The wings have a good reputation, but it’s next to impossible to get your wing fix here.

Definitely a pub more than grill. The food was good, but the order of the bay was Bucs and booze. Very dated inside with a large need up upgrade. The front says Tampa bar all over it, not sure I would bring the here dinne night out, but to grab a drink with an old war buddy we be great, and catch a game.

Last time I came was 2 years ago. I remembered them having the best wings. Got my order 15 mins ago. These wings are a 1000% old and/or overcooked. I can’t finish eating these joints. You can see on the pics. I ate two lemon pepper wings and a teriyaki wing but they’re hard, dry, and not fresh. Sucks because I got the same ones last time and they were fire! Good customer service but I won’t be back.

Today I opted to dine here for the first time. I walked over and i was rudely told i had to call to place a to go order. I let that go and I place my order and specify how i want my food. I pick up my food and head home and i realize my top allergen that i asked not to be in my food was there. I called and the girl was helpful and i went back and spoke to the gentleman at the counter who went and had my food remade. When he came back he asked if i wanted cajun on my fries i said no ketchup please and he leaves. I get home and there is cajun on my fries and the seasoning has landed on my sandwich and due to health issues i cant have anything spicy at all. Im not walking back due to incompetence. Clearly they lack listening skills and have no regard for their customer service. Waste of time and money.
