Ordered the brisket. For the price it’s not worth it. It had good potential. I was only given one piece cut in half to make it look like two pieces. It was cold. It did have a nice smoky taste . The baked beans were actually good and hot. Not sure if I will return.

I had the Ribs, smoke sausage, baked beans and potato salad. The Potato salad was not good to me but everything else was really really good.
My complaint is the atmosphere, and service itself… definitely racist. If you’re black then skip this place. It’s a shame because the bbq itself was good! The price was a little over $20 but, they give you a good amount of food for what you are paying for.
The racism and atmosphere was a turn off. Will never return!

Visited for the first time today. Nice little place – clean and the young man working the counter was polite and helpful. Received my food quickly. Ordered the beef brisket and pulled pork both of which were well seasoned, tender and juicy. They have a free food pantry on the inside. In my humble opinion, giving back to community and those less fortunate is a very noble and honorable thing. They are not the cheapest, but I get the impression they’re trying to compete on price as much as they’re trying to compete with vegetarian restaurants. Overall three thumbs up.

The place has a nice mural paint job on the wall and all but the inside still looks like a hole in the wall diner/grocery/food pantry that’s located in a strip mall. The seating seems to had been replaced but there are still booths with torn up seats around. My son actually asked why they were storing the trash inside instead of bringing it out like we do at home.
The prices here have gone from slightly above average to so overpriced we don’t want to afford this place anymore. All the up charges and extras has made this restaurant unattainable for my little family. What we were paying $30 for this time last year cost us $75 over the past weekend. It was definitely not worth the new prices and the quantity of food received. You definitely don’t get baked beans – what you do get is the juice the beans are cooked in with maybe 10 beans thrown in there. Won’t do it again.
You can find just as good of not better bbq up the street at Days Smokehouse or on Florida at Sonny’s and we can afford to eat at those still.

This is my first time visiting this establishment. I was buying lunch for my dad for his upcoming birthday and a friend also came along. I got to say. The staff was extremely nice in the food was excellent. I got sausage and brisket with baked beans and potato salad. The beans were excellent in the brisket was very good. My dad and friend that came with me got the ribs and all they could talk about was how the meat just fell off the bone and how good it was. None of us live very close to this place, probably 30 to 45 minutes drive for each of us… But we all agreed that we would definitely find a reason to go back here.

I am not a BBQ person, my husband kept talking about his visits here. I was finally able to go…walked in and we were greeted by the owner and her wonderful staff. The owner guided my on ordering. I was craving a burger and they have THE absolute BEST!! We also got the smothered potatoes and the out of this world green beans. My husband got a bbq plate of fabulousness. I will return.

This is the best barbecue I have ever eaten. All of their meat is juicy and tender. I’ve never been a big fan of brisket until I tasted the brisket from here. We also used them for my daughters wedding and the food was a big hit. The potato salad is like no other, so yummy! They are all very friendly up there also.

Shrinkflation has hit this place hard… the portions are smaller, and the prices are higher… I waited in store for 26 minutes for my to-go order, that I already paid for. While two tables got their food before I got mine… finally they call for me, and the different girl behind the counter insists I didn’t pay… They need to work on interpersonal communication if this happens so often… just tell the next cashier. “This is paid, and waiting” it ain’t that hard.
Used to be a great place to go for everything on the menu, the Ribs and Brisket still taste great, but paying $20-ish with taxes for 4 ribs, cheap frozen fries, and golfball size slab of mac and cheese.
I won’t be doing this again…
