Do you know those “one horse towns” that are nothing but a stoplight? You drive thru and never really know you’re in it? That’s Eagleville, MO. It’s a Love’s rest stop, and some houses right off the highway. Nothing to really see but cornfields. So of course, stopping here I thought for sure we’d be eating either something from Love’s, subway, or heading to Kansas City.. BUT I took a chance with Google and this pizza place popped up and the reviews sounded good. Tbh I was skeptical because… well.. pizza is subjective and what one person thinks is “good” another is like “god that’s awful!” HOWEVER! The reviews for Firehouse 54 were SPOT ON! This place is FANTASTIC! The cheese sticks are a perfect balance of salt and cheesy goodness, the Buffalo Pizza was FIRE and the ice cream sandwiches were homemade Deliciousness! The exact type of pizza and cheese sticks that pair well with a good beer ( and I’m NOT a beer drinker) but I wanted one with this meal!

So if you’re traveling thru Missouri, and you need a good place to eat.. if you’re passing thru Eagleville.. stop in and get yourself some pizza and ice cream! You WONT be disappointed!

Taco Tuesday is the best! Make sure you make time to stop in – they notify which Tuesday of the month it is on their facebook. The ice cream is also delicious – beats Dairy Queen any day. My favorite is the banana cream pie!

Our first time there. The pizza and cheese sticks were amazing. The waitress was wonderful with the kids and even told them “house rules say, no ice cream till the pizza is gone.” They are it all and got their ice cream. Wonderful experience and will for sure come back again!!

Excellent cheese bread and fantastic calzone (I had Alfredo sauce with mushrooms and onions.) The server was a kind woman who made us feel welcome. It was worth stopping!

This place is gem The crust is somehow light and also sturdy enough to hold a lot of toppings without being floppy. Do yourself a favor and stop here ! This will be our new tradition anytime we drive through on the way to Kansas City to visit. My daughter’s favorite food is pizza and she said this is the best pizza she has ever had. Ice cream was an added bonus. Another cool part was reading the story posted on the wall and seeing the owner back making our pizzas ❤️ Great service too, feels like your having dinner at your grandmas house.

We were on our way back to Texas from Minnesota and stopped over for the night. I had read the reviews and told my kids we were going to have pizza. Told them this place had great reviews! We got to Eagleville and the kids laughed at me… “Of course they have great reviews, mom. It’s the only place in town” One bite changed their tune. It was the best pizza they had EVER had. We had a supreme and their Alfredo and of course the cheese bread. Trust me- if you are ever anywhere near here, eat this pizza!!!!

Called for pick up on our way to KC from Iowa. It was AMAZING! The pizza was delicious and the cheese bread was the best EVER! My son even said we need to stop back on our way home to ask how they made them so good.
