We are a wine shop and more. We have over 500 wines from around the world, mostly small family producers from Europe, many organic/biodynamic, and an interesting selection of liquor. Outfitters refers to the select camping and outdoor items and knives we carry. Brands include Opinel, Kershaw, Gerber, Bark River, UCO, Mountain House. We also provide FFL services. We sell some antiques, with emphasis on primitives and Americana. Our folk art selection includes bird carvings, wood turnings, rustic paintings on reclaimed lumber, and fiber arts such as penny rugs and make-do pincushions. Co-owner Jennifer Dahl makes hand-bound books and boxes, jewelry, soaps, and folk art ornaments.

Incredible spot! Must visit if you’re into wine. There’s an incredible selection of wines you almost certainly won’t find elsewhere in Wisconsin… anywhere in Wisconsin. Excellent recommendations from the proprietors (thanks Collin!) who are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Outstanding selection! Knowledgeable staff and very friendly. My wife and I have purchased 5 bottles in the last 3 days (yes we are taking some home), and we wish we had more time to sample all of the suggestions. Definately someplace we will visit next time we are in, or even near, Door County!

On our way back from brunch we happened upon a great little store hidden in what appears to be a block of offices. They had a sign board out next to the road offering “Wine. Knives. (And something else I can’t remember……)
So we stopped. Walked in and my wife asked me as we stumble into a very small space laden with spirits, wine and a caseful of knives “what does this place remind you of?”
I immediately told her “our basement!”
It’s true – we collect spirits, wines and sharp stuff of all varieties. And that’s exactly what you’ll find here. We came away with bottles of three very different and wonderful spirits, a conversation with the owner and a piece of driftwood with some sort of little succulent plant attached to it. I’m likely to stop tomorrow and snag a blade or two.
My new favorite store in Sister Bay without any of the usual pretense little shops tend to have. Pricing was very fair as well.
Check em out and don’t worry about the idiot who didn’t like the name.

Best wine selection in Door County. Quite possibly my favorite wine shop ever. Tons of unique french and Italian wines and most seemed to be in the $10 to $40 range.
