Fired Pie is a place we have always loved for pizza and salads and friendly staff, at the Riverview location. Today, Sunday 10/12/2025, at 7:00pm, was a different story. Employee was rude when I asked if I can have a Cesar salad with my choice of toppings, he rudely said, “That’s a custom salad”, to which I replied, okay, can I get it though? No reply, he just pushed the bowl to the next person. Go to pay for the order and cashier guy mumbles, I had to ask three times what he was asking. We go to sit down and every table is dirty, not just crumbs, but greasy food smears. There was only one other customer in the restaurant so I don’t know why one of the employees couldn’t clean tables. I have attached a photo of one of the staff persons. After our order, there were no other customers so apparently they can just sit on food prep area continually touching their face, then never washed their hands. We go to leave and the trash can is so full, we could not throw our trash away. Whoever owns or manages this restaurant, you really need to drop in unexpectedly to see what goes on here. We will NEVER return.

We had a very unpleasant experience today with the Mesa location. We’ve always ordered from the Ocotillo location, and the team there is absolutely wonderful — always friendly, helpful, and happy to answer any questions. We’ve never had an issue there.
Unfortunately, this time our order was sent through a delivery app to the Mesa location. As soon as we placed the order, we realized we needed to modify the crust from regular to cauliflower due to a celiac condition. Since the app wouldn’t allow us to make changes, we immediately called the store to ask if they could help.
The first employee told us it wasn’t possible and then brought the manager on the phone. We remained polite and understanding throughout the conversation and even offered to pay any extra charges necessary — this was never about money. We were simply trying to make sure the order was safe for someone with a dietary restriction.
Instead of trying to help, the manager was dismissive and had a noticeable attitude. At the end of the call, she even made a frustrated noise that made us feel like our request was unreasonable. All we were asking for was a crust change, and we made it clear we were willing to pay for it.
It was very disappointing. Customer service should be about finding solutions when possible, especially when it involves medical dietary needs. Sadly, this experience ensures we won’t be ordering from the Mesa location again.

Staff is amazing, but this location its never staffed enough. Poor kids are always doing the job of two people. While Door Dash/mobile order tickets keep coming and line forms out the door. Scheduling for efficiency and employee well-being should be prioritized over capital.

I came in to get some pizza around 11 and I walked in to an empty store. I thought they weren’t open yet so I was about to leave but then I heard some giggling coming from the back. The employees were in the back throwing something at each other and laughing. When they finally got done playing a girl with blueish green hair walked out and finally noticed me standing in the dining room. I asked for a pizza and she rolled her eyes at me. Another employee walked out and the blue haired girl pointed to me almost as if to say “Take care of this.” As the employee was making my pizza the blue haired girl stood near the oven with her arms crossed, frowning and staring at me like I just ruined the fun they were having in the back. Just then someone from the back yelled “Alena, you got to come see this” and the blue haired girl walked in the back leaving my pizza in the oven unattended. When I finally got my pizza it was crispy and black at the bottom. I asked the blue haired girl if I could get a refund or another pizza and she refused. She said I would have to talk to Micheal or Doug and that it “wasn’t her problem.” Luckily for her, I was on my lunch break and hungry so I didn’t argue or cause a scene. This will be the last time I come here! That Alena girl needs to learn how to talk to customers!

Amazing customer service!!! The employees (2 young ladies) were kind enough to help me carry 4 pizzas and 4 drinks to my car when I bought dinner for my family tonight on my way home from work.
The Mediterranean pizza with added Italian sausage is my go to recommendation. It’s tasty. Love Fired Pie!

The store was dirty. Trash overflowing. Three people working could not figure out how to take an order or communicate with each other. They served a bigger party that ordered behind us 5 minutes before us. These poor employees need a leader to help them. I still tipped at point of sale but that was before the worst of service.

The service was slower than expected, but the person in front of me decided to order 6 pies, so that didnt help. The pizza was crispy to the point of almost tasting burnt. First time trying this location but not sure they might need more training there.

No sense of urgency with the door dash orders. Will no longer be accepting orders from here. Could have offered a water while I waited or at least acknowledged the long wait. I get my time doesn’t matter to you, but it means a lot to me. Please have orders ready in the future. Seems like you were preoccupied with the staff.

At this restaurant I ordered two mediterranean white veggie pizzas. I did so through a food delivery app as they had a special offer on this. The crust was really dry, I mean just really dry, which was not too pleasant, but the taste of the pizza as a whole was quite good. I had the house-made dough. But they used high quality ingredients as toppings in my opinion. They were the exact opposite of the crust concerning the taste.
