I am rarely one to give a 22% tip to a server but the experience my wife and I had warrants the $24.44 tip to Caleb, our server at Firebirds Surprise, 13388 N. Prasada Parkway. We walked into the restaurant for our 5:30 pm reservation and were immediately greeted by the hostess. She read the notes about our reservation and wished my wife a Happy 7Oth birthday. Strangely enough, we’ve never had that exact experience before of the hostess greeting one of us for our birthday and wishing a Happy Birthday. Everything we ate and drank for our dinner was great. I gave five stars to Firebirds Surprise for a reason. The staff deserves credit when they’ve earned it from the hostess to the servers to the staff in the kitchen and the bartenders. My wife had a very memorable 70th and I can tell you this meant the world to me. Her steak dinner was part of the three course dinner for $39.95. You really can’t go wrong with the three course meal. Try it. I had a rib rack while she had a 7 oz BLT Filet. She let me taste the filet and the meat was every bit as good as the way she described it. I gave her a rib in turn. I thought about giving her another rib but I had trouble parting with any of the rack. Best sauce! Rib meat was soft! Even the mixed vegetables were perfectly cooked. Caleb checked on us and we also had a visit from Firebirds Surprise Service Manager David. He asked how we were enjoying ourselves and we honestly told him how his staff was very professional. We honestly felt they are really happy to give great service and like getting feedback. So I didn’t wait a day to do this review. I felt they deserve an immediate response for the kind of service. We’ll be back. Thank you all!

My husband and I went early (4pm) today, we were seated right away. Our waiter, Kenneth Lee, was very attentive. The lobster queso had some large pieces of lobster and a lot of smaller prices as well. I don’t usually like fish but that queso was tasty. We were so hungry that we ate most of it before I took the picture. It could easily have been enough for 4 people to have as an appetizer.
My husband ate most of his sirloin steak before the picture as well, my meatloaf was exceptional. My only suggestion would be to brush the new bread they serve with a garlic butter.
Remember if you go please make a reservation they are usually very busy.

Went here this afternoon for my birthday lunch with my husband. It was our first time here and we sat at the bar. We were served by Samantha and she was fantastic. Attentive, personable and prompt with refils and order taking.
We had the green chile chicken nachos for an appetizer which were delicious. I ordered the 12oz ribeye on her recommendation with fries and lobster queso enhancer. Steak was perfectly cooked, well seasoned and tender. Husband had the Durango burger and absolutely loved it. For desert we had the creme brule cheese and it was devine. We will definitely be back!

My wife I and made reservations here for our 2 year anniversary and had a great time! The prime rib was excellent as was the sirloin and they gave us a complimentary creme brulee cheesecake dessert given the occasion which we appreciated very much. It was a little loud in there but after a few cocktails our voices had no problem matching the volume level in the room lol. Overall a wonderful experience, we will definitely go back and I would highly recommend!

Me and my wife went here for the first time for our 8yr anniversary. We went just an hour or so after opening, we were immediately greeted, and seated. After a few minutes of looking at the menu, we asked our sever what she recommended, I cannot for the life of me remember her name, but she was amazing. She was VERY attentive and made sure we had what we needed. I was stuck between like a garlic sirloin steak and the special for the day which was a NY steak with house butter. She recommended the special which was so good! My wife got a grilled chicken sandwich deal which she very much enjoyed (her words). We also got the spicy deviled eggs, they have a slice of jalapeño and a chunk of bacon on them and they have a super creamy filling and not overly spicy but have a nice over time spice. Overall experience was excellent I would definitely go back again!

So I went back to Firebirds for my 47th birthday. We wanted to give them a chance again after the flop of my husband’s 50th birthday. I called a day ahead to make a reservation. Per the conversation with Matt, with the catastrophic 50th of my husbands birthday he said to ask for him or the manager to make the reservation and let them know that we have a free dinner on him. I even have an email from Matt giving this to us, so we can come back and have a better experience. When speaking to the manager she said she put it in the notes “dinner on Matt”. So naturally when we checked in for our reservation, I had assumed they knew who I was and that dinner was taken care of. Matt even came around and asked how dinner was, I shook his hand, and reiterated I am Jamie, thinking he knew who I was. I didn’t think anything of it, except when the check came. My husband and I realised they didn’t comp the dinner and that we did end up paying for it. Obviously , we were not going to make an issue especially with the server who couldn’t have been more sweet. But honestly, it just shows me that they really don’t pay attention to their reservations, or the notes. It did suck because I was hoping that they at least made right on the horrible 50th my husband had. My birthday dinner was great, but it wasn’t the full experience we expected. I do want to point out again, our server was super sweet. I’d like to see the management take their guest requests more seriously and that they review every note from guests because they may be celebrating something special, and I hate to see things get overlooked.

Very nice restaurant with beautiful interior designs. My mother in law and I were not hungry, we just had a carrot salad with some house potato. Both are pretty yummy. But the carrot salad confused me a little bit because there wasn’t a lot of carrot inside but a tons of arugula, also the goat cheese was wiped around the plate, it’s really not much, I prefer they are just regularly added in. But overall, the service is nice and we enjoyed our lunch.

My wife took me out for an early dinner and we had a great experience. I ordered the Smokehouse Burger with onion rings, and everything was fresh and full of flavor — the rings were crispy and the burger was excellent. My wife had the wood-grilled chimichurri shrimp, and I tried some; it tasted perfect, and was perfectly seasoned. We finished with the crème brûlée cheesecake, which we shared, and it was amazing. Great food, great service, and a really enjoyable early dinner.

We had an 8-person party celebrating my brother’s birthday and ordered steak, ribs, pasta, and salad. Everything came out perfect with great presentation, great taste, and freshness all around.
The only thing they didn’t do was sing happy birthday to my brother or bring out a birthday dessert , but he already purchased dessert with his dinner package. They did, however, leave an awesome card on the table signed by everyone at the restaurant, which was super thoughtful.
Overall, a great experience! Highly recommend Firebirds for any occasion.

We celebrated my mom’s birthday here today and our waiter name was Joseph who was amazing!! He made our whole experience today with how positive and happy he was. His joy lights up a room. He made her a special candle set up for her and was on top of our drink refills the entire time. He even had to-go drinks ready for us without even asking. Highly recommend to ask for him the next time you go.
