We started with the garlic knots, and they were excellent — flavorful, fresh, and a perfect way to kick off the meal.
For pizzas, everyone went a different direction, which made it fun because we got to sample a little bit of everything.
My brother-in-law ordered the PB&J (pepperoni, bacon, & jalapeño) and described it as “the perfect amount of meat and heat.” After trying it myself, I completely understood what he meant. Great balance and very satisfying.
My sister-in-law went with the Angry Bird, and after chatting with the owner we learned a cool story behind it. It was inspired by a local UPS driver whose last name is Bird. He had a pizza like it in Myrtle Beach and could never find it anywhere else, so Fire recreated it the way he remembered. It’s topped with chicken, pineapple, banana peppers, citrus explosion sauce, and mozzarella. Super unique. She called it “a one-of-a-kind pizza — sweet, spicy, and tangy,” and I’d have to agree after a bite.
My wife ordered a classic cheese pizza, and if you know pizza, you know that’s the true test of a place. She said “the crust had the perfect amount of crunch,” which tells you everything you need to know about the quality coming out of that oven. I wholeheartedly agreed.
As for me, I ordered the Hot Honey Pepperoni, and I have to say — after eating pizza all over the world — this was honestly one of the most delicious pies I’ve ever had. The ratio, the flavor, the sweetness with the heat… it just worked. I can already tell it’s going to become a tradition every time we come back.
I can’t say enough good things about both the pizza and the service. For a small town like Elizabethton, this place is a gem. We will absolutely be back, and I’m already looking forward to my next Hot Honey Pepperoni.
Absolutely fire.
Also found out they are open 7-days a week which is fantastic news.
Nice atmosphere, very polite and I love it’s a small business!
The offered fresh basil on every pizza too. The dough knots and margarita pizza were so delicious. Service was extremely quick and prices were extremely reasonable. Their lunch menu prices were unbeatable.
