I first ate here after they first opened. I haven been back since right before the beginning of summer. The first time I ater here I got the beef ribs white rice and black beans. For just bout $20 I was given 2 nice sized boneless beef ribs. Well fast forward to 2/26 and I ordered the exact same thing but instead of 2 beef ribs I paid the same price but only one boneless beef short rib.

Super friendly and prompt service, food is hot and fresh every time. I recommend the pit balls and the flan — I’ve ordered the platter before and enjoyed it too (you also get a ton of food for the price) but the pit balls are truly one of my favorite things to eat in all of downtown Silver Spring!

I want this food hall to succeed, but the vendors need to seriously up their food game. My first impression walking up to the counter was not great – the staff taking orders was on the phone and didn’t even acknowledge my presence for 5 min. I ordered pork ribs, black beans, and farofa. Wait was reasonable (about 10 min). Food was mediocre at best. Ribs were cold and very salty. First time trying farofa so nothing to compare it to, but did not enjoy it. Black beans were the best part, and were good at best.

To top it off, they didn’t have bbq sauce! The name Barbeque is in its name and they didn’t have bbq sauce! I had to eat it with some clear sauce that’s kind of yucky.
The service was professional. But it’s been hours and I still have this bitter aftertaste in my mouth I can’t get rid of.

I’ve ordered from this place several times through uber eats and I would always order the Picanha sandwich and it was great! Unfortunately, now every time I order it no matter what time of day, they always give me the rib sandwich. My order is always wrong and it’s frustrating please fix this issue it’s getting annoying.
