I had a fantastic experience at Fire Pit Portuguese Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic Portuguese flavors that really stood out. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared, especially the grilled dishes, which had the perfect smoky flavor.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal with family or friends. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.
If you’re looking for great Portuguese cuisine, generous portions, and excellent service, I highly recommend Fire Pit Portuguese Restaurant. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I love the food at the Fire Pit I have been to this location before; about 3 or 4 times. The services is great and a bit better today. I had 4 family members and my wife with me. And our server Arturo made sure nothing went wrong. He took care of the table’s glasses; that they were full and everyone had what meats they wanted. 5 star service in a small but cozy place.
If you are in the mood for Brazilian BBQ stop here and enjoy. Oh! If you like shrimp try the shrimp empanada, amazing.

Do you think this is fresh? Freshly reheated bones, some of them even look like they’ve been eaten by someone else.

Sigh… My first time trying this place and ordered their half-rack of BBQ Pork Spare Ribs, sautéed vegetables in olive oil and garlic, and a chicken empanada. My first bite of the chicken empanada I liked, the chicken is seasoned/flavored nicely. However, the second bite made me gag when I bit right on a hard piece of cartilage. Never in my entire existence… have I ever bit on a cartilage when eating a chicken empanada. Completely threw me off and lets me know they are not careful of what pieces of chicken are used – just chops away.
The BBQ Pork Spare Ribs weren’t great. I love a fall-off-the-bone juicy/flavorful rib (I LOVE Cubby’s BBQ Restaurant fall-off-the-bone ribs – you HAVE to try them!!!). But Fire Pit Barbecue’s ribs are stuck-to-the-bone. And they included some smaller pieces of rib (rib tips) that was hard to eat/enjoy because there were pieces of bones/cartilages in the way (rib tips have the SUPER WHITE pieces of bone/cartilages in it, where it looks like pearly bones/cartilages. I hate that kind. I ordered spare ribs, not rib tips).
The third disappointment was the sautéed vegetables in olive oil and garlic. From the sound of it, I was expecting flavorful lip-licking vegetables that’ll make you go “Oooo that is so good.” Instead, at first glance they looked completely unseasoned/unflavored… just plain looking vegetables. I loved that they were long pieces of broccoli and long pieces of sliced carrots & you can visibly see the pieces of garlic. So I thought maybe looks are deceiving and I just have to try it. But… as soon as I bit into the broccoli, nothing but water poured into my mouth. I bit into the sliced carrot, nothing but water poured into my mouth. The vegetables had so much absorbed water – they just tasted like plain vegetables and water. There was zero flavor/taste of seasoning. Zero taste of salt. Zero taste of black pepper. Zero taste of any seasoning. Zero taste of olive oil. Zero taste of garlic even WITH the visible pieces of garlic. It solely tasted like 100% plain-cooked vegetables with absorbed water – like the water-aspect dominated the taste of the pieces of garlic somehow. I would have loved for the vegetables to have actually tasted sautéed with seasoning/flavor, MUCH less water and more olive oil usage, and add some salt & pepper to taste.
I was not satisfied with my food.

The food itself is very good, and I have no complaints about the quality or taste. However, the delivery process could use some improvement, as the food has arrived cold. It may help to explore options such as insulated bags or other methods to keep the food warm during delivery. This small change could greatly improve the overall experience.

Very kind staff, always checking up on your service! Definitely would recommend! It can be a bit of a wait but totally worth it. The chicken isn’t dry at all like other Peruvian spots, it’s moist, fall off the bone delicious! Will definitely be returning! Thank you and the staff for an amazing dinner! Happy holidays

I heard about this place and it didn’t disappoint. Entire experience was great. The food, service…even the presentation was good. I’ll definitely become a frequent visitor. Btw, pricing wasn’t too bad either.

I’ve always driven by here and decided to just check it out. Here’s what was ordered. Garlic Chicken sandwich, was tender, it just doesnt have flavoring to it. The French fries are diner fries like the other reviewrs have said. The Cambo: beef ribs and half a chicken, 2 ribs very thin these are deli ribs not butcher chop ribs. They were a bit undercooked. Chicken incredibly dry. Rice also undercooked, and came with a lot. Beans were watery . Idk if that their method of making it but I didn’t like it. Also tasted undercooked. Angus beef sliders were basic. Example, no caramelized onions or maybe a house made sauce. But they were a good size and you get 3.
