It seems apropos that I was following a fire truck when I happened upon Fire & Flavor BBQ. This Portuguese restaurant has a a nice menu. Being a fan of empanadas, I was excited to see some as I entered the door. I tried the beef and pork, which were delicious. Seeing that they have a signature dish, I tried that as well. The Fire & Flavor rice had a nice zing with diced sausage, and chopped broccoli rabe which enhanced the flavor and texture. Their menu ranges from light fare to dinners, so whether you want a snack or a meal they have you covered.

Dined in w the kids and had a delicious meal. We live across the street cannot believe we didn’t eat here sooner, so good. The custard cups are the best ever and the paella rocked. We’ll definitely be back.

I was recently in the mood for a homemade-style burger cooked on a grill. After some searching, Fire & Flavor caught my eye. I decided to take a chance on something new and I’m glad I did! The burger was huge and really took my breath away. It was so unbelievably good! On top of the burger, I added an egg and some other toppings. All of it was delicious. I also tried a beef empanada, which was also really well seasoned and tasty.

I placed my order over the phone and originally heard of this restaurant from the podcast of the Cane and Corey show. I spoke with and met Wilson, who is as just as friendly as a guest and sponsor of the show. The restaurant is located on Central Avenue in a strip mall, in case you have a hard time finding the place.

I was hesitant at first only because of an experience at a DIFFERENT Portuguese restaurant in the surrounding area , HOWEVER I am pleased to say I was very much satisfied. At last a place that knows what well done means and isn’t afraid to season the food. The lady at the counter was super nice and super helpful! I enjoyed my meal and if I’m being honest the single portion could have been shared with another person. I don’t live in this area but I work in the area and would definitely eat here again! It was the skin on the chicken for me

Had lunch on February 6th with family at Fire & Flavor BBQ – top notch food, great value and our host Wilson made us feel welcome and was very accommodating. Nothing but compliments from all of us. If you’re from the area and wondering where to go for a bite to eat that’s not your usual… this is the spot. If you need to find a new place to add to your rotation of eateries… this is the spot. If you need a go-to place for when you’re good and hungry… this is the spot. By the way the Tres-Leches Cake and Flan… I challenge you to find better. Been to Fire & Flavor several times now. Has not disappointed.

I went here because I was visiting a friend and I’m new to the area. When I went in I was greeted and everyone was nice. The platter I got literally feeds 2 or 3 people alone and is 20 dollars. I got the chicken and beef platter and some empanadas was amazing food. Highly recommend this place

Ive ordered take out from here a handful of times and it’s been really good most of the time (and only good my last visit). The food is ready when they say it will be ready and the people who work there never gave me any problems. My only issue and I dont know how they can fix this is that a couple times, it was REALLY smokey inside. Sure, I wait outside at times but it can be inconvenient if it’s really hot or cold outside.
