Pistachio pizza was delicious, amazing dough. Fire toasted pistachios were delicious, do wish it still had tomato base also though but personal preference.
Would be great to have salt, pepper, chilli oil and balsamic for example on the tables.

Amazing wood-fired pizza! We had the veggie and Margherita pizzas, and the buffalo mozzarella was absolutely delicious.
The owner Mr Pal was so lovely and soft-spoken we really enjoyed chatting with him about our trip. Definitely give this place a try, you won’t regret it. What more do you need in life? Great pizza, cold beer, a beautiful view and good conversation. ✨

As a person who make his own dough, sauce, and makes his own pizzas, I have to say that this place make great pizza. I highly recommend it.
However, if you the kind of person who thinks Dominos is the standard, then you may not like this place. This place uses authentic ingredients, makes simple, thin pizza with charred crusts…. The proper Italian Napolitano type.
The bathrooms are perfectly clean, the drinks are good and complimentary.
Highly recommended.

We have been meaning to try this place for a while now. Granted we are a bit fussy about our pizza but we decided to give it a go. We ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas with no onions or olives which was no issue. The pizzas were ready in about 10 minutes. The pizza was cooked to perfection with balanced portion of cheese, sauce and pepperoni. Taste wise it turned out to be the best pizza I have had in the Christchurch area. Who would figure little ol Sumner would have the best pizza around. Really kick ourselves waiting so long to try it out. We will definitely be back again and again and again, ok you get the hint 🙂 Hats off to a truly great pizza, see ya soon

Chanced upon this place on a walk around Sumner this afternoon… followed the yummy smell and it was well worth it, pizza was made quickly and the quality was great, only slightly negative observation was that 1 pizza wasn’t enough food for 2 adults to share and feel 100% satisfied. It was super yum though.

Me and my family come here very often, and love it every single time. They are friendly, the service is extremely quick and the pizzas are delicious! The wait time was about 10 minutes. The wood fired pizzas are amazing, and so are the fries. Whenever we are near Sumner, we always pay a visit to this place. 5/5 – you should definitely check it out!

This place has yummy pizza, delicious options with a light crispy base with reasonably priced menu. Possibly due to it being a public holiday we waited close to an hour for two pizzas even though they said 30min wait. But can go for a walk to the beach and kill some time. Only one man was working so the tables were still stacked with a few dishes. Overall pretty awesome pizza. Quality takes time 🙂

One of the best pizzas I have eaten around New Zealand. The edges of that pizza is super crunchy and chewy it is super tasty. I love that pizza it always reminds me on napoletana pizza. Every time I visit sumner i also need to eat this awesome pizza.
The price is also very good, you have a great selection of pizzas, also vegetarian and even vegan.
The owner is also super friendly.

Amazing pizza. Perfect for date night, get pizza take away then eat it on Summer Beach. Really high quality, delicious, great value considering how good the pizza was. I definitely will be back.
