My fiancée and I celebrated our 11 year anniversary at Fiori last night, and we greatly enjoyed our time there. The atmosphere at the restaurant is very reminiscent of places we visited while abroad in Europe, and was also very romantic.

Our table was in a nice, secluded area as requested, and we were greeted with a sweet message and flower petals on the table. Milka was our server and she was very friendly and attentive. We both went with the tasting experience after she recommended it to us, and we were not disappointed! The quality of the food was superb and authentic, and the portions were very appropriate for each dish. My favorite part of the meal was the risotto, and my fiancée really enjoyed the octopus. We were also lucky enough to meet Fiori’s wine importer who gave us excellent wine recommendations to accompany our meal.

I finished the evening with a pistachio gelato which was fantastic, and I also was able to taste the chocolate cake which was phenomenal.

The staff were all very attentive and friendly, and the chef/ owner also greeted us and thanked us for visiting his restaurant.

We will definitely be back, and have already recommended Fiori to several of our friends. If you want authentic Italian food in Houston – this is the place to go.

Let’s start with great things . Service was very attentive! Impressive. Like the interior plates from ones not so much. Bread was great and pasta dough was fantastic. Now rest ? Not great . Definitely food was overpriced. Short ribs on the side of lack of taste, sauce for carbonara done with over dried cheese giving that odd taste , bacon bits not cured properly. Sauce for my ravioli had no balance. We ate it but definitely not coming back the 3 dishes were over 80 usd.

A place that looks like something else in the photographs, the service is very slow, the person who served us since we arrived, we asked him, how are you? And he answered us very sleepy and it was 9 at night, we were a reservation for four people and as you can see in the photographs the place was empty and to serve us a dish took 40-50 minutes and his response was that we have a table for 6 people up on the terrace and it is a party and they have priority. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

I visited recently over the weekend and had a very pleasant experience.

My party and I started off with the Cozze Alla Marinara(the only photo I took because I was with great company). They were amazing! They were from Maine and so the flavor was very neutral, with a slight sweetness, and cooked with a garlic, chili flakes and white wine sauce…ask for bread to finish off the delicious sauce!

Dinner was the Cotoletta Alla Milanese Con Rucola. This is a fried coated veal chop served with a spring mix salad. The chop was a sizeable portion and very tender. One thing to note- the flavors are subtle because the chef wants his guests to experience the quality in the food and presents a more natural approach to his flavors and cooking. Thank you, to our amazing server, Milka for explaining this and always checking in with us, as well as her wine suggestions-we chose Chianti and were not disappointed.

We also ordered the Carbonara guanciale (pasta with cured pork cheek). This was flavor forward with the cured meat and deliciously creamy, paired with the slightly pungent flavor of the Pecorino Romano cheese. Yummm!

Dessert was the tried and true Tiramisu! This is normally not my go-to, but it was very good! The coffee was very rich and the creamy marscapone blended perfectly in this dessert.

We had an amazing meal and I will definitely be returning to enjoy more of this small, but inviting place! Reservations are highly recommended if you have a larger table-quite a few regulars there, so that was a great sign

We had a wonderful experience on Fiori’s rooftop! Excellent service and cuisine! My partner and I shared a salad, then she had the spinach & mozzarella ravioli, and I had the short rib ravioli. Both were delicious! (I was lucky enough to be able to try both dishes!)
For dessert, we had Affogato Al Caffè and some raspberry gelato. Perfect end to the meal.
We will definitely be back, especially as the restaurant is walking distance from our place.

We visited Fiori Italian Restaurant for our Friday date night on a friend’s recommendation. The place is charming, resembling a cute, romantic cottage. However, the atmosphere was lacking – there was no music or anything to create a lively ambiance; it felt quite dead.

Additionally, the restaurant was uncomfortably hot, and we had to wait 35 minutes for our drinks. Though the champagne and wine were at least cold and enjoyable, the long wait was frustrating.

The food was the biggest disappointment. We are big fans of Italian cuisine, but the pasta tasted like something you’d get at the supermarket, and it was vastly overpriced.

Our waitress, who was working her first day, did a nice job, but the restaurant as a whole needs significant improvement, particularly in the quality of the food and the overall service.

I was really excited to try Fiori, but sadly, I won’t be coming back.

Fantastic dinner. These people genuinely care about quality and service. We did the full tasting menu which was 5 beautiful, big portions for $79. Not the cheapest but definitely worth it for a nice night out. The place is intimate, so I’d recommend making a reservation if you can, though we would have been fine without it. Lobster ravioli was incredible, fried burrata appetizer was to die for! And our server Tiffany was great. Seemed like Valet only for parking.

We chose to celebrate Mother’s Day at this restaurant. The servers were friendly, helped us choose suitable dishes, and informed us about the portion sizes. We enjoyed every dish here, as well as the beautiful flowers on the table. We had a wonderful time here.
