The service and atmosphere here was perfect, and most of the foods are just extremely nice. We especially love the bread and the lobster, so well baked and cooked to perfection. And the beef we ordered was so tender that it just melts in your mouth.

The only thing disappoints us is the saltiness of the pasta. We ordered the seafood pasta with urchin and clams. The ingredients were so good, but the sauce is just way too salty for us to bear. It was very nice of them to give us a complimentary beef pasta with tomato sauce, but again, extremely salty, a little bit more bearable. It might just be their style and decide to be a bit heavy on pasta, but not in my favor.

Other than the pasta, everything is just nice and what you would expect for a Michelin 1 star.

We were in DC for the weekend and let the Michelin Guide provide suggestions. We were, of course, not dissapointed. One of the nice things about this restaurant is they don’t require each guest to have the same tasting menu unless it’s the nine course Brumidi which does require the whole table to get it. Nine courses seemed like too much this night so we had the Pascoli and Leggero between the two of us. We each thoroughly enjoyed our choices. There were a few surprises along the way. The classical wine pairing with the Pascoli was great, and I would recommend it. Each course, with roots from the Chef in Italy, was fantastic. What an enjoyable evening.

Fiola is an outstanding Italian restaurant. The service is excellent, precise, and genuinely impressive. The cocktails are exceptional, the pizzas are superb, and every appetizer and dessert reflects an extraordinary level of quality. Even the coffee is luxurious and perfectly executed. The entire experience is refined, elegant, and sophisticated. A restaurant with great style and class. Strongly and confidently recommended.

Been twice, both times flawless. The pasta and cheese are in a league of their own, and the meat is equally exceptional. If you’re doing the tasting menu, go with the 5-course — satisfying without overdoing it. The 9-course is impressive but come hungry. Fiola is simply one of the best dining experiences in DC.

A one Michelin star restaurant with three Michelin star taste! We have dined in many Michelin star restaurants, including two former #1 rated restaurants: the 11 Madison Park and Osteria Francescana, and Fiola’s taste and services rival any of these restaurants we’ve tasted so far. We were happy to tell the General Manager Kingga Boratyn that, and then she had the executive chef Antonio Mermolia came out to meet us and took pictures together. The food was as good as it can get and the service was impeccable. The Wine pairing was perfect with the 9 course Brumidi tasting menu. Definitely worth a visit.

This was an outstanding experience and the food was outta sight. We did the 5 course tasting menu, and it was very filling. Between the two of us we split the fish and meat options. Comparing the courses, I would say the meat was better in two out of three instances, but they were both fabulous.

Shout-out to our server Jessie, and the whole front of house staff, who made this a really special birthday. Thanks for answering all our curious questions and for the gifts. Every little thing was so thoughtful, and it was honestly touching.

12/10 experience. Highly recommended.

Wonderful service and fantastic food.

This is one of the best Michelin experiences I’ve had in DC. It brings innovation to Italian food in ways I’ve never seen. The margherita risotto and deconstructed cannolis were fantastic and my favorites.

Wouldn’t hesitate to go back! They also helped celebrate my partner’s birthday and service was professional and easy to talk to.

My favorite dining experience in America so far.

It eclipses any other experience I’ve had in the U.S. to date. I am accustomed to this level of service in Europe, but in the U.S. you often pay considerable amounts and, unfortunately, the experience does not always meet expectations.

From start to finish, the experience and the story behind it were exceptional. The food was absolutely breathtaking.

Our highlights were the aperitivo counter snacks. For the main courses, the lamb was outstanding, the duck was exquisite, and the lobster was equally impressive.

The dessert was good, though not as memorable as the savory courses. The wine, however, was the true highlight of the evening.

The staff were incredibly kind and professional, always smiling — genuine smiles paired with real conversations, not just for show.

Thank you.
We can’t wait to return.

I had an incredible time at Fiola DC last night for date night! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with an elegant and refined ambiance. The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, and the staff made sure every detail of our experience was perfect.

The food was truly outstanding. Each dish was not only beautifully presented but also bursting with flavor. The seasonal ingredients were fresh and expertly prepared, showcasing the creativity and skill of the kitchen. The pasta was a standout, perfectly cooked and balanced in flavor.

Overall, Fiola DC exceeded my expectations, making for a memorable and delightful evening. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience in the city.

Food was ok… tasty but nothing I fell in love with imo (not to say everything was made great and flavor/textures were good)
Jeese was a really good waitress.
Their cocktails were also good/ok
