Full transparency: I’m a little biased because the owners, Jennifer and Donnie, are my parents, along with their incredible business partner and family friend Steve. That said, I truly wouldn’t leave a glowing review if the experience didn’t live up to it.
Every dish we ordered was phenomenal. Everything was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with a lot of care. There honestly wasn’t a single thing at the table that missed.
The restaurant itself is stunning. The space is thoughtfully designed with a warm, welcoming atmosphere while still feeling elevated and special. You can tell a lot of attention went into every detail.
The passion, hard work, and vision behind this place really show in both the food and the environment. If you’re looking for a new spot with incredible food and a great atmosphere, Finksi’s is absolutely worth the visit.
Highly recommend checking it out!
Our waitress was incredibly attentive throughout the meal. She checked in at just the right times, made sure our drinks were always full, and was happy to answer any questions we had about the menu.
For food, we ordered the Heritage Mac and Cheese and the Sweet Potato Gnocchi, and both dishes were fantastic. The mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. If I had to offer one or two small critiques, I wish the jalapeño had been chopped and mixed into the dish rather than placed on top. I think it would’ve distributed the heat more evenly throughout. And the gnocchi serving size was noticeably smaller than the pasta. Still, it was delicious. The Sweet Potato Gnocchi was equally impressive.
It is a little on the pricier side for Huxley, but the quality of the food and cocktails definitely makes it worth giving it a shot. Everything tasted thoughtfully prepared, and you can tell they put care into what they serve. I’m already looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu!
The drinks and appetizers have been great — the blackberry refresher is delicious and the cheddar cheese balls are so good that I had to order them again. On my most recent visit I tried the Southwest black bean burger with chipotle mayo and it was very tasty.
It’s exciting to see a place like Finski’s open in the area, and I’m looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu.
