I’m genuinely confused about the hype surrounding this place, unless it’s simply due to a lack of sushi options in the area and people haven’t experienced much beyond it. I moved here from a major city and have traveled to Japan several times, so I’ve had a wide range of high-quality sushi. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.
I ordered the crispy rice, which looked nothing like the versions I’ve had at dozens of other restaurants. It wasn’t crispy rice it was deep fried rice balls. One bite was enough, it was overwhelmingly salty, with no other discernible flavor. The tuna also seemed questionable in both taste and quality.
After that, I decided not to order anything else. I’ll spare the details, but I didn’t feel well later that night or the following morning.

The food and service were both fantastic! We had various sushi rolls (the snow mountain roll and spider rolls were both big hits), chicken teriyaki with fried rice, and hibachi chicken with rice and noodles. We liked everything we got! They also had cushy seating which is always a plus for me. This will likely now be our preferred spot for sushi and hibachi.

The food here is always FANTASTIC. Consistent in flavor and appearance, every sushi roll we have tried is outstanding in quality, taste, and appearance. We love the appetizers, salads, and always order hibachi meals to go (amazing for lunch next day!!) Always a great place to bring friends to enjoy a meal… FIN-TASTIC

We came here for dinner and left very satisfied! I ordered the avocado-salmon sushi roll – it was fresh and really tasty. The pieces were a bit small, not super filling, but fair for the price.
The main dishes, on the other hand, were very generous in size. As a vegetarian, I ordered the vegetarian ramen noodles – delicious and well-balanced in flavor. I did have two comments:
1. The dish had no protein at all – it would be great to have tofu or fish as an optional add-on.
2. A piece of chicken accidentally made its way into my dish. I’m vegetarian, but once I pointed it out, the waitress was very kind and immediately replaced it with a new one.
Service was friendly, food was tasty, and the overall vibe was great. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I was very disappointed in my unagi Don. I thought by getting the larger eel rice bowl that I would hopefully get a half filet of eel. What I got was thin Sushi slices covering a bed of sushi rice with garnish. The sushi filet is thick and Rich, where the slices are thin and small in comparison. For the price I was disappointed with the amount of eel. I ordered the chicken teriyaki for my wife and ended up getting a Bento Box lunch instead. She only likes the chicken and vegetables, and generally has no use for anything else at a sushi restaurant. The Box had Chicken on top of a bed of sweet Saucy onions, and one piece of overcooked broccoli. A couple of dumplings, two pieces of California roll, and a small salad. If that’s what we wanted it would have been fine

We have just recently tried this place for the first time. Our first visit was not a great one, but we were a large group. The food came out in stages leaving most of our party waiting for food while others ate, and ended up taking food to go to keep from holding up the group. We were informed after the fact that one Wok was down and they were behind. We opted to try this place again and we were not disappointed the food was great. The crab and octopus sushi were delicious (according to my husband).

Fins is a wonderful place to go to for delicious, scrumptious, taste licking meals. I’ve been here several times and I will never grow tired of it.
Every time I step into its beautiful family friendly cozy atmosphere, I feel like a person that is about to become a new person because of the food. The food, especially the takoyaki is SUPER thrilling and you’ll be left wanting even more!
The waiters are so kind and service is always extremely high quality, just as much as the takoyaki. Don’t order it too much though. I need some too. It’s that delicious. This is the place to try if you want a good bite ‼️

My daughter asked if she could pick dinner one night while we were down here on vacation. We said yes and she said, “Sushi!” OK, it was sushi. Being from Indiana I had no idea where to go so I hopped on Google. Fin’s rated very well and the photos told us it was exactly what we were looking for. The atmosphere is very laid back and casual. It made for a relaxing meal and good conversation. We tried 3 different rolls and none of us could pick our favorite. They were all amazing. We also tried their crispy crab rangoon, spring rolls, and calamari. What a great place with great food! We couldn’t have been happier with the service. Very attentive and prompt. Would definitely be a regular stop for us if we lived here.

My family used to come here about 6–7 years ago and it was always really good. The sushi was great quality back then. A couple years ago we started coming back, but it just wasn’t the same. We decided to give it another shot today, and honestly, it was still pretty mediocre.
