They must be hiding a 5-star chef in the kitchen because the food was gorgeous, delicious, and cooked to perfection. Hands-down, the best piece of swordfish I’ve ever eaten. If you are a salad person, the beet salad (order it with shrimp) will make your taste buds sing. Super friendly, talented staff worked well together and made the whole dinner relaxing. One of the best meals we’ve had in years!

It is sad to see how one of my favorite restaurants closed but I was happy to know that I new one was opening so I decided to give it a try with my husband and sister.
We went on a Thursday night with no reservation. The sit as down super quick and even let us pick the table.
The service was okay, clearly the place just open so they do need a little bit more of training.
As an appetizer, we ordered Mussles and then as main dishes we got the ribs, the swordfish and the salmon.
The food tasted good but, there’s just TOO much on the plates. My salmon had olives, which I will personally take away, 1 flower, lemon edge, capers (I will take away too), white beans, tomatoes, green edible plants and more. It is just too many ingredients, so the flavor of the salmon gets lost. It happened the same with the swordfish.
The taste of the ribs was good but they were not soft.
The menu needs to be fixed ASAP. It’s not attractive at all. The one that is online looks way better. Recommendation: use the online menu without the pictures, as your in person menu too.
Adding some daily special or event nights I think it will help too.
I know it’s a new restaurant, so I will wait some time for them to adjust and come back later on, to give it a second chance and update this review.

I went here with my sister on opening weekend. They were serving a limited menu and adjusting their cocktail menu but said the bar could make us whatever we wanted. We had rose, oysters, crab cakes, poke bowl, and key lime torte, all of which were great. The oysters were my favorite and you can’t beat the price of half a dozen for $10. You can tell this place is run by people who have been in the neighborhood for years and I wish them the best of luck. Looking forward to returning later in the summer – such a convenient dinner spot after a day at the beach.

We went last night – Thursday – everything was great. We had the server Theresa who was absolutely the best paying so much attention to details. We had wings, calamari, chicken sandwich, salmon and the tuna poke bowl and desert. Everything was so good – salmon was over cooked just slightly as well as the chicken sandwich but it was still delicious. Will be going back a lot this Summer!

What an adorable spot! The servers were very kind to allow us outside seating and turned the lights on for us. Our server was super helpful and cheery and enjoyed the night with us. The seafood penne a la vodka had plenty of lobster in it and they were kind enough to oblige our request for a different sauce for the steak. The merengue key lime was also delish! I’m surprised this place doesn’t have more reviews, such a nice gem in Hampton Bays!

We had a fantastic time here! Awesome band (NY Pocket Kings), kid-friendly & great staff. We didn’t order much food, but what we did get was really good.

I went to Fins and Forks last night with my neighbors for dinner. We sat in the Sun room which looked out on the canal. We stated with appetizers of local clams on the half shell, chicken wings with a Thai chili sauce, spicy and sweet, and a lightly breaded calamari. I love fried calamari and eat it all the time. This was the tenderest fried calamari I have ever eaten.
We had the diver scallops, served over a flavored risotto, delicious. Fish and chips, B B Q ribs and a shrimp basket. All dinners were a generous portion of food.
For dessert we all ordered the chocolate, chocolate chip ice cream. Double scoop of ice cream with large chunks of chips, a chocolate lovers Dream dessert.
The service was phenomenal by all. Our server Marie was pleasant, bubbly and very attentive.
One of the owners, Mike, very personable and friendly, stopped by our table a few times to chat and ask how we liked the food.
Great atmosphere, with some well placed T.V’s for the sports fans and an outside deck for dining. With the reasonable prices, we will definitely be going back.

A great new casual, friendly addition to Hampton Bays dining on the way to or from the beach. Our food was fresh and delicious. I had the oysters, which were only a $1.50 a piece. He had the homemade lentil soup, with lots of beef chunks in it. For a main course, we had scallops on mushroom risotto and lobster ravioli. Both were so good and large portions too. Service was friendly and precise. We will definitely be back.

My parents and I went last night and the setting is beautiful! The staff were wonderful. The piña colada was the best we have ever had and the bar setting is comfortable and big. The food was a big portion and very affordable. We had two different steak dishes and really liked them both! We plan to go back very soon and can’t wait.

Staff is lovely at Fins and Forks. The Chef, lol hose family has locally been i. the business for a long time comes out to personally check on your food and service. It was Juneteenth and we sat outside on the deck. I had the fluke tacos which were delicious. Delicately fried and so very fresh. The dressing on the tacos and the three little side dishes were delicious. My wine was delicious too. The price is right. There are a few things they could do outside to make things a little more special – table clothes, ground salt and pepper on the tables but that does not take away from the quality of the food and staff. I’ll be back again! Very casual and laid back. The mussels are to die for with little local grape tomato slices and thinly sliced garlic pieces as little surprises – broth and bread are amazing. Get the Mexican street corn side – should be an appetizer – so, so good! Scallops out of this world!
