I ordered takeout a couple weeks back and still can’t stop thinking about their pulla apple cider. It was nice and hot and included a nice blend of spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom I think). It was everything you could want in fall drink. I would go back just for that.
I also ordered their reindeer sausage & potato quiche and farmer pasty dinner, both of which came with a side salad and some type of white dressing/sauce. The quiche was addictingly delicious and a pretty decent size. It was flavorful and creamy. Would recommend.
I’ve never had a pasty before so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the outside dough was kind of tough and the meat inside seemed to be a bit overcooked.
Despite the the pasty, I would still come back again for the cider and quiche. They were so good!

A cozy neighborhood joint that makes you feel right at home. Be prepared to seat yourself and bus your own dishes, while enjoying a hearty meal. Their menu has great variety, with my favorite being the coconut chicken sandwich.

My husband come here a lot for coffee and pastries (which are always amazing – love their Kringle almond bar) but we decided to order lunch for the first time today and their spicy Viking burger was amazing. We staff even brought out an extra plates because they knew we were sharing the meal – they’re very attentive and helpful.

Order at the counter and find a seat. It’s super busy so there is a long line and a bit of a wait.
Wooden chairs with no handles so easy for plus size butts, they are sturdy. But almost no space between tables so expect to squeeze and lots of op sorry as you slip on past people.
I got a coffee, my husband got a hot cider, and we split a classic breakfast with some French toast.
The bacon was thick and perfect, we got basted eggs and they were cooked exactly as you would expect. Could have used some salt and pepper which they don’t keep at the table. Potatos were perfect tenderness yeah. I looked at all the stuff already. French toast was super fluffy and moist tons of fruit and whip.
Overall we were very pleased.

OMG! This place is amazing! I brought my parents here for the first time to experience a finish bistro. They’re from a really small town and don’t have something like this. We were able to look at the menus ahead of time, I went to the cashier to give our orders. The cashiers and all the employees were very kind! Two of us had the quiche: ham and cheese I think it was, and it was SOO delicious! It was huge too! I could have split it with my mom, but we each took half of ours home. My dad got this thing called meat pie , which is like some sort of hot dog on Wild rice, on hot dog buns? And then my husband got another meal. We enjoyed some tea, and picked up a few sweet treats for the ride home. I would definitely come here again, I would love to try more things on the menu. One of the bakery items that we wanted were out, but the employee said that we should try this lingonberry item instead, and we did, and it was great! I thought it was going to be super sour for some reason with lingonberries. But it really , all this food, opened my eyes, and I’m so appreciative that this business is in St paul. By the way, my parents aren’t very mobile so this was an easy enough restaurant to get in and out of, there are no stairs. The bathroom, which I took photos of, to help with showing others how accessibile the bathrooms are. I wasn’t able to share pictures of all of the menu, because Google limits me to 50 photos. But please enjoy all the pastries in the pictures . Pictures are from approximately September 22nd, 2025. , also! Don’t forget to sign up for the rewards program!

Got the Pasty. Was very good
It came with a salad. Also tried a savory scone. That was good too. Then got a couple of Almond Kringlers to go. Those are always delicious

Fun bistro atmosphere with a unique and delicious menu. Harder to do group orders, and drink add ons, as you have to go up to the counter and order and pay when you order so have your drinks and food orders all set up when you go order. The coffee is great, the staff are friendly and fun, and the food is delicious.

Came here on a Wednesday so there wasn’t a ton of people. Majority of the seats taken were people sitting down for a while studying, catching up with friends, and working. I just came for a lunch with my family and while it was my 1st time, it was my family’s 2nd time. The menu doesn’t have a lot of pictures but is simple enough to not be overwhelmed.
I got a Meat Pie Dinner (Lihapiirakka), which I shared as it was bigger than I was expecting but was super super delicious. I got take out for a group of 10 people and the food was ready pretty quickly, easy to pick up, food was still warm when the containers were opened, and just as delicious as sitting down to eat at the restaurant. The whole restaurant’s ambience is very chill, and there are little details you can find throughout.

What a gem! I loved this place. Very relaxing atmosphere with indoor or outdoor seating. Food was delicious with some unique choices. I had the Quiche with salmon & asparagus. Huge portion with a side salad included. I also had a cup of the tomato basil soup, very good. Brought home some pastries & dessert for my coworkers which they thoroughly enjoyed. My friends had the coconut chicken salad & the gyro which they said was very good. Everyone agreed they would come back again.

This place is amazing, and there was a little music show around 10am, but I left a little early, so I didn’t get to see the show. The matcha was great. It’s a cute place to read and meet friends.
