Visiting the Santa Barbara / Goleta area in late January and was just looking to get in somewhere for dinner on a Friday night. This location is part of a busy strip mall with a number of restaurants. We had a short wait and were able to get a table inside. Despite the evening chill they were still seating in their patio. We tried a few of their beers, they were fine. Two of us got burgers, they were good. I had a tuna tartare salad which I enjoyed. The place is a traditional American style restauran/bar – think BJs Brewhouse as a comp. We did have good service.

We dined here on a Friday evening, early enough where we were seated promptly.
This is definitely a happening lively popular place, more of a bar menu, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and pizza, accompanied with a great selection of beers and fairly a full bar selection.
I ordered from the appetizer section the Coconut Shrimp and the Brussel Sprouts.
I found the food good but of not a wow moment.
I will patronize this establishment again and try one of their pizzas.

This was our first time at a finneys. The food was good but the fries were awful! We tried their sweet potato fries and their truffle fries both were awful, we didn’t eat it after trying. They are just greasy and overly salted and seasoned.
The worst part was the service. Our server (young white blonde lady) was nowhere to be found. She didn’t refill waters we had to chase her down even to pay the damn bill! We were going to order drinks but she never returned to our table after taking our initial order.
I don’t like it when I’m expected tip but there was no good service. They need to train their staff better. It wasn’t overly crowded or busy.

The server got my wife’s beer wrong. But it was very good. We then ordered the dry rub wings and got the traditional wings instead. The wings were great, just not what we ordered. We also got the steak taquitos and loaded tots. All three appetizers were great. Just got the wrong items.

Could have been better. The table smelled like dirty rag and ceiling kept dripping water on my head even after moving the table. Service was ok, I filled my own water glass 3 times. It was busy and I understand. The food was OK at best. The double smash burger was small. I dont know if I will go back.

We like coming to Finney’s in Goleta. Unfortunately their service is not consistent in the dining area. Some serves are attentive while others forget you were there having dinner. The bartenders are great and they are always on top of things. One of the problems we often run into is that their salads are always drenched on whatever dressing they serve. It’s a salad not soup. Wings were great. Crispy and delicious. The tri tip sandwich was way too salty you can barely taste the meat. It comes with chips, but they serve us the bottom of the container, all left over small pieces. The server should have caught that.

Would have gave 5 stars but I was a little disappointed in my first time experience there.. I ordered a bowl and it came with avocado, when I got the bowl there wasn’t any so I asked the server. She looked at her pad.. and was like it doesnt come with it. I was pretty positive it did because my husband and I talked about if he got it he would have it removed and I joked to leave it for me to have. So I checked the menu and sure enough its on there. So I don’t really think she wanted to check and just acted like she looked.. food and beer were great.. just disappointed in the service and lack there of.

The Finney’s Crafthouse in Goleta was a great place to for lunch. My wife and I felt the excellent customer service right when we walked in. All of the staff were extremely friendly and our waitress Ester was exceptional. It is a great place if you want to grab a drink and watch some sports with friends. The restaurant has plenty of televisions to watch your favorite sporting events . They also have outdoor seating with heaters. The food was very delicious. All the things we ordered, which was the Wagu meatballs, Parmesan chicken wings and the Philly cheesesteak sandwich hit the spot! Finney’s Crafthouse is well run restaurant. I definitely recommend going to one near you. In addition, the food is reasonably price and a good value for your money!

It’s a sports bar with tons of TV’S and loud music, but it’s set up really well and even though we’re not interested in watching any games, still enjoyed our food. It is not typical bar food! The tacos were amazing and the servers were very accommodating.

Great food, atmosphere, service. Very glad Finney’s came to Goleta; those who have tried the downtown Santa Barbara location will be pleased. Jalapeno egg burger was great, and can’t go wrong with any of the appetizers. Would come again.
