Situated at the corner of San Fernando and Palm, Finney’s features a beer garden on its split level patio overlooking the famed pedestrian walk. I really love Finney’s! The food is great, the drinks are great, ambiance is great(especially on the patio) and pricing is great! Came in for lunch with coworkers, we ordered mozzarella sticks to share and each got our own entrees. None of us had alcoholic beverages but I have tried it in the past, and loved it so I am basing this review on the past just for the drinks. We were seated pretty immediately for a large group, there was 9 of us and we were in and out of there very quickly which I appreciated! I got the parmesan garlic boneless wings which were delicious as always and my coworkers got the following: bison burger, poke nachos, chicken sandwich, bbq chicken flatbread and cobb salad! Everyone loved their food and most of us took food to go since the portions are big. Parking can be rough on San Fernando but there’s plenty of free parking garages around if you are good for a short walk.

I have wanted to check this place out for a while – great spot to stop by after catching a movie. Nice atmosphere, chill vibe, friendly service, and really tasty food. TVs at the bar and good amount of seating. I tried 2 things but I will definitely be back because the Buffalo cauliflower was too delicious. The truffle burger was also worth coming back for. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Service was on point. You pay through a device on your table. Looking forward to trying more of the menu.
Update – Strawberry Lemon Drop Martini was nice. I appreciate that they use real juices and not artificial flavors. It was not sweet at all – I don’t like sweet cocktails – but I did wish it had a little more sweetness.
The chicken and waffle bites were tasty. Perfectly fried chicken, nicely seasoned… Crispy, buttery waffles with a maple “gravy”. The portions were larger than expected. They are called “bites” but it is a good size appetizer. They will even add an extra if you don’t like odd numbers. Ha. Sat outside this time – nice music and nice vibe.

We absolutely love the happy hour here! The food is amazing, the music creates the perfect atmosphere, and the staff is incredibly polite. This place is a must-visit! Plus, the prices are unbeatable!

This place has a great happy hour Mon-Fri from 3 to 5pm. They serve a variety of craft beers and have many typical pub dishes such as burgers, chicken tenders, sliders as well as a good choice of salads and sides. Definitely a good place to watch a game, they have many tvs around the restaurant. The service was friendly and the food arrive fairly quickly. They also have a “phablet” on the table for customers to play games on while they wait (i imagine that could work well for some kids!)

So the food is really good. I put a lot of pictures up so you guys can look through those but I have tried a fair amount of what they have on their menu. I have tried like all of there burgers and sandwiches. So far the only thing on their menu that I didn’t like was there taquitos and I’ve met people there that still like them I just wasn’t a fan of their sauce. They have awesome bison and wagyu burgers. Also everything is at a pretty reasonable price. In fact if you go during happy hour it’s cheaper than some fast food places now.
The bartenders are cool and there’s normally at least two of them so it’s not really hard to get a hold of someone to order.
If you go during happy hour it’s a pretty mellow crowd and a lot of regulars.
Last but not least the only reason I couldn’t really give it a four star is that occasionally they don’t get my order right but normally they fix that and secondly because they have open Windows occasionally they have fruit flies in the place. You would think that would knock off more than one star but all in all it’s not enough to really deter me from going on pretty regular basis still.

Full Disclosure: The night we went the bar flooded and was closed!!! Such a bummer because I was looking forward to a cold one. Anyway, the host did inform us of that prior to sitting down and we opted to stay for dinner. The staff was friendly, courteous and our food was delivered fast, fresh and delicious. We started with the deviled eggs which were scrumptious and the tuna tacos. I had the jalapeño burger and was able to substitute the patty for an impossible burger which was fantastic. My only concern was the lack of hotness of my french fries. I’m a french fry lover and they gotta be fresh and hot man! Regardless, the onion rings were amazing and our overall experience (sans any booze) was on point. I like the fact that they have allot of staff who are always busy whether you are their customer of not. In other words, they ALL take care of you in some form or another. Great place and will visit again and hopefully will be able to try some cold brews next time. Thank you. Oh! And the bathrooms were super clean.
