Place had maybe 10 tables… so not busy.
Waitress literally got every single item wrong we ordered.- EVERY ONE. Then asked did I want what I ordered? Ummm yes. Never brought it out. When I brought it to her attention she said I never said I wanted it. Well I know I didn’t want what I didn’t order not to mention, she completely skipped over one of the members in our party and didn’t even ask him what he wanted to eat. This honestly was the WORST service I’ve EVER had ANYWHERE. And had a whole attitude when I was questioning the bill. All she said was “sorry you look unhappy” umm you think? I would have rather eaten at Sheetz.

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! This was a wonderful restaurant experience! We had the Irish fries, bowl of chili, pot roast, bbq slider, the burger, and the chocolate cake to eat. Not a single thing was bad, it was all good. So much flavor! The horseradish sauce was phenomenal. Atmosphere was cool with music that wasn’t too loud. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Clean place to eat. Prices were more than reasonable. Would have taken pictures of the food but it wasn’t on the table long enough. We will definitely be coming back! Give it a try you won’t be disappointed!

We had Nashville hot chicken sandwich and pot roast sandwich. Both were delish. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. McCools has a friendly neighborhood vibe with reasonable prices. We will be back.

This place is close to work, so it’s a favorite. I’ve been here a bunch, always good times. This time, it was for lunch with some dudes from work. The service was great, and the food was excellent!!! The server was nice and friendly. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area !!!

This was the second time we’ve eaten here. Both times with a party of 8. Both times the food was excellent. Tonight we had great food and great service. Lilly was our server and she did a fantastic job!! Like most businesses today, they were short staffed but we didn’t have to wait for ANYTHING! We will be back for sure! For anyone out there looking for a casual place with a good vibe, fair prices and good service give this place a try.

This may be a hidden gem! We found it while looking for somewhere close to eat to our hotel. The food was great, service on point and great atmosphere! I’d definitely be back if I lived in the area!

This place is always a great place to go. Great food selections as beer selections. Service behind the bar is also great. The corned beef egg rolls were fantastic. Tuesday night bingo is fun too.

Stumbled upon this gem with my wife and we’re glad we did! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Really like the bar lights. For an appetizer we had the boneless wings which were awesome. You can tell they weren’t stored in a freezer for days prior to being cooked. Our entree was macaroni and cheese pizza which was also delicious! Prices are reasonable, staff was friendly. Highly recommended.

Don’t blame the waitress though, it was just one person working the entire floor during St. Pattys day.
Very limited drink options (beer/cocktails) and maybe only 2-3 Irish dishes on the menu.
Lower rating because they’re charging 12% tax (higher than cook county for Christ sakes) and adds an extra 3% surcharge on top of that.
Overall, not a bad place. But there’s just too many better options in Schaumburg to return to this pub.
