Spent a recent Sunday afternoon watching football at Finley’s. Atasha was a phenomenal server and the tomato soup and grilled cheese special hit the spot. Do you like sangria? They carry the Ole brand of Sangria, an imported Sangria that is better than any I’ve had anywhere around!

Excellent food and service! The place was packed with locals. The wing special is a great value (supposedly the fish and chips are also very good, but we haven’t tried them yet). The wings were crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside! And a side of Blue Cheese or Ranch, plus a few carrot and celery sticks INCLUDED. The way you’re supposed to serve wings! Could have used a little more sauce on the wings, but still excellent. Guinness on tap, and good specials on regular beer.
I’m guessing it was the Owner or Manager who was the host that night, running the place like a restaurant should be run. Kept things moving, waitresses on the ball, tables turned as soon as people left, and an overall great experience. Many of the restaurants in this region should send their floor manager (or their teenage girls trying to play hostess) over to see how to run a good operation.

We had a great evening out at Finley’s Irish Pub and Eatery. What was going to be a pick up and take home turned out being listening to some great 80’s music sung by the Nightly Brew Band with a little young rocker from the audience. Great food and amazing entertainment.

Thank you Rob and Kalie our servers extraordinaire.

Excellent service.

When we walked in the placed was slammed busy. Yet, a family member had come in to help on her day off.

Everyone was busting their tails, seating, serving and clearing.

We were seated and service was timely with Rob taking our drink and food orders.

Our food was prompt and brought to us with a smile by Kailie.

My wife had the Bangers and Mash. Prepared and plated perfectly. The Guiness gravy is classic and savory. The accompanying veggies a perfect al dente.

My Fish and Cips was equally good. White Fish is a superb fish, and the breading was light and crispy. Pics in the review.

Portions generous.

Cute interior.

All arround great experience.

Went there 2 yrs ago, food was burnt! Just tried again, was EXCELLENT! Beef tips were the best, salad was fresh. The atmosphere was very casual and relaxed. Our server brought our meals all very hot and at once for our party of six. Plan to go back to try another dish from their varied menu…but if you go, try the beef tips!!

** Pot Pie is back!!!!!!!!

Doing a food walk here… haven’t had a bad meal yet.

Massive steak sandwich. Wing Monday (honkers for less then a dollar a piece is a rarity) maybe the best Caesar salad on the peninsula (I’m always after that Tijuana Mexico flavor) blackened shrimp was a great change up from chicken. No small meats. If you like French onion you will be satisfied. Blackened fish sandwich is awesome, not something I generally like an I’d get it again.

Pot pie is next lvl gonna be a Thursday spot for me for sure!

Every waiter I’ve had correctly 3/4 pours the Guinness

Great place, great food, daily specials. Bar seems fun (always full and happy). I see regulars and happy groups. We love Thursday chicken pot pie, can’t go wrong with fish & chips. Entire lunch menu delicious, reasonable prices and plenty of seating. Lunch is quiet for story telling or planning.

I’ve dropped in at night, music and fun. And oh boy, St Patty’s its out into the parking lot!

We have eaten at Finleys many times and until this evening always had a great experience. Tonight when the server brought our onion rings the dipping sauce fell off and spilled over my pants to start. One of our friends had fish and chips but the fries were cold. I had wings and potato skins( as usual) but the potato skins were not fully cooked – I ate two small ones thinking maybe it was just one not fully done and 4 of my wings were good but the last two seemed stuck together but instead was some other part of chicken ( maybe thigh) but certainly not wings. I left it on the plate to show the server. She said the piece was two wings stuck together ( it wasn’t) and said she would replace the two wings and offered to put the potato skins back on the grill. I declined but she did bring out two wings. The other two meals were fine.
There was no apology for the spilled sauce on my pants or the food issues. I wasn’t looking for a free meal – just expected better. I paid the bill and we left – very disappointed. Our friends said they won’t be back and I am in no hurry to return.
