While the food was absolutely delicious, the service was lacking. Long wait times, errors in checking, and an overall need for at least one more waiter. We also had a reservation but found ourselves waiting for a table to be cleared.
The resturaunt is not as off putting as it appears in the images on here, and though the decoration is a bit eccentric, it’s overall coherent and charming.
We found the prosciutto cod and chicken piccata underwhelming, but the steak voodoo and salmon cakes were both delightful.
Many of the issues encountered at this restaurant were a matter of staffing, because the food was positively scrumptious.

The crusted pecans were delicious and gave the salmon dish a really interesting texture profile. The sauce and potatoes were equally divine!
Really the only thing that held me back from a five star rating is that my food came too quickly. I had barely finished our bread and had just gotten my salad when the entrees came.
It felt like the whole experience was rushed.
I like to savor the moment when in a fine dining setting. This experience took all of about a half hour. It took longer to drive here than to get my food. I just wanted to savor it, and would definitely had ordered dessert and coffee if I hadn’t felt rushed to get through.

The Finley Point Grill is the best restaurant in Polson! Their seafood dishes are delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection. They have an open kitchen, which allows for interaction with the wonderful kitchen crew. Stormi was our waitress and she was very friendly and pleasant. I wish I could give six stars

Our night at Finley Point was a great one! My Rib Eye was cooked perfectly, my wife’s chicken was a little tough though! Service was very good also! I definitely recommend eating here!! The only bad part was some elder woman talking on the phone at her table discussing politics . They should have told her to stop!

We used to live at Dayton 30-40 yrs ago, yet had never been to FPG. We won’t make that mistake. This is the finest dining experience around the lake! The service was exceptional, (thanks, Janay!)ⁿ & spot-on when plates needed to be removed, water replenished, the dessert was brought. We began with bread & an oil/balsamic dip. Very good starter! Salads were red leaf, arugula (spring mix) with dried cranberries & chopped pecans. The coconut shrimp was Crispy large prawns & quite tasty. My filet mignon was cooked to perfection at my requested medium rare, served with a properly prepared baked potato. The skin was fully edible, a bit seared & super good. It was served with sautéed squash, zucchini & yellow, also superb. We topped it off with NY style cheesecake topped with berries.

We are pleasantly surprised by the food at FPG. I had the Chicken Piccata which was zesty and lemony and breaded to perfection. My guy had the Kobe Burger, it was prepared a juicy medium rare and didn’t need any additional fixings. The bread and salads were also exceptional. Wine list and drink menu were on par with the food. Bravo.
