This is a spot that everyone needs to try. I had the Pennypack hoagie with some of their chili. Hands down one of the best hoagies I’ve ever had and the chili was top notch. The people working there were friendly and when I say quick , I mean it. I will be back again and I highly recommend for people to try this spot out. Also, this is veteran owned and operated, thank you for your service.

Thank you Tacony CDC for a flyer introducing me to Finks hoagies. Talk about one of the best hoagies spots in Philly. Must try!!!!!! I took a walk over, provided top tier customer service along with supporting the community in affordability plus absolutely tasty hoagies. Unbeatable prices…., Can’t wait for Sunday 6 bucks for 6 wings.

Great local joint supporting veterans. A half sandwich is like 11 to 12 inches long. We have the Italian (whole and a half), Holmesburg (proscuitto half) and Mayfair (ham half). Get the olive spread on the sandwich for an added touch. ALL for $40. Can beat that. Family of four could make it on two half sandwiches. For veggies the gourmet veggie looks good.

I really enjoyed the hoagies at Fink’s — fresh, flavorful, and made just right. The price was very reasonable for the quality and portion size. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

Top 5 Italian hoagie. Bonus olive spread makes it unique. But above all $8 bucks!?!? Easily the best value. Cash only. Only bottled wooder. Minimal stool seating only.

Has been the best hoagie in Philly for some time now. The owner is a vet, and he’s there working with his staff every day. Bread is always made fresh from a local Italian baker and the best part of the sandwich. If he runs out of fresh rolls before the day is over, that’s it. He would rather lose money than use bread from a local market. Please don’t sleep on this place.

Nice local gem. Being from S. Philly, I’ve never had a reason to try a hoagie in the NE. We have good choices down South. But the recent combination humid weather and empty refrigerator convinced me that it was time. Finks lives up to the reputation. I came in at noon on a Thursday and service is friendly and fast. I ordered the italian. Meat is ample and sliced a bit thicker than I would preferr. Lettuce is rough chopped and the dressing has a nice hint of cured olives. They use provolone crumbles instead of the slices that we’re accustomed to having. A half is plenty for one person and can serve 2 if you’re looking for something lighter. All for $7. It’s not 5 stars but at least I don’t have to drive all the way to S. Philly to get a decent hoagie. What’s your favorite local spot?
