Always stop in for a burger and fries before camping. Takes about 15 minutes to receive and food is prepared fresh. The price is reasonable as well.

Great little spot, a hometown diner. Prices are low and the food is great. We stopped for breakfast which was delicious. Tenderloin had a bit of a weird flavor, but every other thing was picture perfect. Waitress was nice and attentive.

I have been here several times now so I am able to give an honest and full opinion/evaluation. Generally, the food here is simple and very home style. The menu is not long but covers the basics for a quick lunch or breakfast. I have no complaints about the food or service. The staff are always wonderful and always had a seat available. Don’t expect your food instantly or some fancy dessert however you will find good food priced fairly served by very nice people. This is one of my favorite lunch spots in the area.
UPDATE: The grilled chicken is back!!! May I suggest adding a sliced grilled chicken to a BLT. All the wonderful joy of a BLT but filling like a chicken sandwich. Very yummy!!
– NOTE – I was informed it is much cheaper to add bacon to the chicken sandwich opposed to getting chicken on a BLT.

Ask for 2 sausage biscuits and got 2 sausage biscuits and looked at my receipt and was charged for bacon. I have ordered here a few times now and 2 times i was charged for bacon and 1 with egg and only asked and received sausage. I don’t know if it’s an error or a scam. Just check ur receipt or u might be paying for something else that u didn’t order . Food is good though just not careful with key pad

We found this place by accident as we were just passing through stopped for gas and being we both were hungry we decided to try it, I ordered the cheese burger and the wife ordered the bacon cheeseburger both were very tasty, no complaints at all! I ate here some years ago and I have to say that it wasn’t very good. I have ate here 2 times in the past couple of weeks. First time was something I consider simple but if not done right could be terrible. A fried bologna sandwich. As a southerner this is a quintessential lunch item and if you can’t do it right then there’s no way you can do anything else right. I had a bacon cheeseburger today and it was rather tasty. Don’t know what changed but it changed for the better. I will eat lunch here again when in the area.

I go here every time I’m in town and am always pleasantly surprised by how good it is. But this time was different. I usually go for lunch, but this time I came for dinner. It used to be owned by a veteran, but it has since changed hands.
I went on a Tuesday and ordered the Taco Tuesday special—it was terrible. The tacos were overly salty and just didn’t taste good. On top of that, I had to wait in a long line every time I needed a refill.
If things stay the way they are, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s under new ownership again the next time I’m in town.
