A trip to the Fingerhut Bakery of North Judson, Indiana is like taking a trip back in time. A time when your local neighborhood bakery produced some of the best smells and even better tastes than you can remember. Now you can send some of those great memories to someone special anytime you would like. The Fingerhut Bakery is owned by a family of seventh generation bakers dating back to the late 1700’s in Bohemia. Today you can enjoy many of the same baked delights this family of bakers were serving their customers a hundred years ago. Keith Fingerhut (6th generation) and his sons, Doug and Greg, own the business and still take an active roll in the production of their masterpieces.

I have been here several times and they are always on point from the cafe to the bakery. The cafe has a delicious breakfast and lunch menu and the atmosphere is so inviting. I just love the veggie omelette. The bakery well I cannot say enough, they have some of the best tasting treats I have ever had. The butter cookies so delicious! The staff at both the cafe and the bakery are so nice and friendly. Love coming here.

My family makes a trip out to North Judson about 3 times a year. Every time we visit, we stop at the Fingerhut Bakery. It’s one of the highlights of our trip! Their butter cookies and donuts are very good. On our last trip, I bought a peanut butter cream pie, and it was also very good. My dad and my aunt bought some stale kolachki cookies one time, but the staff at the bakery made it right! My son really enjoys their decorated sugar cookies. Since we live out of town, I’ve never ordered a cake from this bakery, but while I was there, I saw several customers picking up cakes or ordering cakes. If you are in North Judson, IN, I highly recommend putting this bakery on your itinerary!

Little mom and pop shop with delicious goodies. The apple flip was really good and I loved the cheesey cinnamon role thing with cherry in it. I would come back for one of their amazing looking sugar cookies or a doughnut. The location in North Judson makes breakfast too! Delicious bagel sandwich.
