Authentic delicious Italian food! We came on a Friday night with no reservation. The host was very welcoming and chatted with us. Food was really good, felt like we were in Italy! Our favorite was the artichoke appetizer. Service is in no rush, so do not be in a rush to eat. Small restaurant with lots of charm. Would recommend for a nice dinner

Finalmente Trattoria is truly a hidden gem in Westport. With only about ten tables, it offers an intimate, home-like dining experience—and some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. We’ve already been twice in the past month since discovering it, and each visit has been exceptional. We haven’t been disappointed once—whether it’s the service, the atmosphere, or, most importantly, the food.
The octopus is outstanding, with a perfect char that’s hard to find anywhere else. The pork chop is cooked flawlessly, with just the right amount of heat, and the gnocchi are like little pillows of potato—light, comforting, and delicious. On our most recent visit, the short rib ravioli was a standout: rich, satisfying, and generously portioned. In fact, the portions overall are so hearty that we haven’t finished our meals on either visit.
The owner’s passion is evident in every aspect of the experience. Dining here almost feels like being welcomed into his own home dining room, which adds to the charm and warmth of the restaurant. Because of the intimate size, I’d highly recommend making a reservation.

This was our first time and what a delicious restaurant! Joseph (I think that is his name?), the owner and/or manager, was charming and welcoming. The restaurant feels like you are having dinner at the home of an old friend- if your friend was from Napoli and a chef who makes magic with fresh seafood, chicken and pasta. A gem of a restaurant. We will be back!

In conclusion, Trattoria is a genuine hidden treasure in Westport. It serves some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had and provides a cozy, homey eating experience with just ten tables. Since learning about it, we have already visited twice in the last month, and each time has been outstanding. Whether it’s the meal, the ambience, or the service, we haven’t been let down once.

What a great place. This was a meeting spot for a half way location to meet another couple.

Had the bucatini carbonara which was more then enough to eat with great flavors.
The Caesar salad was perfect, you can taste the fresh anchovies.
The cheese cake was perfect.
The staff was very attentive and the owners daughter was very friendly which makes for a great experience.

We had an *excellent* lunch today at FT. Each of our party of three thoroughly enjoyed their dishes and appetizers. This ranged across pastas (linguini with clams, rigatoni with tomato + short rib) and meats (veal scallopini). It’s rare to sit down for a meal where each dish is beautifully prepared, flavorful, and served hot. 5/5!!
