Finale Pizza is a great emulation of what a traditional NY style place is supposed to be. My father and I visited recently and had a great experience. Our waitress Caroline (also commonly referred to as “5”) was welcoming and a great first 5 minutes here at Finale, setting up our table swiftly with a smile on her face. Not long after placing our order, we received our entrees and tasted what Finale promises the people. The pizza exhibited a phenomenal texture. In addition to the beautiful underside, every time we picked up a slice, the crackling of the crust had given me something only akin to an ear-gasm. The cheese was well distributed and tasted amazing, not to mention the sheer size of the pizza, it was humongous. Which was well appreciated. But to talk about some of the reasons why the visit wasn’t a perfect 10. First, the tomato sauced lacked a bit of tangy-ness. Whenever I visit NY, that signature sourness of the the fresh canned tomatoes always hits my tongue perfectly, but I felt I missed that sort of feeling this time around. Secondly, the crust of the pizza was a just a little too long for my liking, about 8-10.5% of it was a long thicker piece that didn’t have much to offer, so I felt compelled to leave it on my plate. Lastly, the seating left some to be desired, it isn’t that the seats were not comfortable, but that there weren’t enough. Luckily during our time at lunch, the place wasn’t necessarily packed. However, I understand that the building is on the smaller end of pizza parlors, so I shall give it some grace, but because of how damn good the pizza is, this place must surely be packed most of the time. Thank you for the pizza and we’ll definitely be back.

A religious experience for Pizza lovers. Justin whose story is second to none was so welcoming telling us about the place and the history behind what makes Finale pizza different than others. Prince was another gem who was so welcoming. The Pizza is the best in charlotte BY FAR. Ingredients and presentation was top tier. You can tell this food is scratch made with tender love and care and by people who have a passion for pizza and pasta.

Finale Pizza in Ballantyne is hands down one of the best spots around! The NYC-style pizza is incredible — we tried the plain cheese, the Hornet pizza, and the Sweety Pie, and every single one was perfection. The crust has that perfect balance of crisp and chew, the sauce is flavorful, and the toppings are fresh and generous.
The pastas are just as amazing — the penne vodka was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. For starters, we had the mozzarella sticks, which were perfectly crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside — exactly how they should be!
And make sure you save room for dessert, because their cheesecake and tiramisu are truly to die for. Beyond the food, the service is just as outstanding. Manager Justin is a superstar — so friendly, attentive, and really makes you feel welcome.
If you’re looking for authentic NYC-style pizza, amazing pastas, and top-notch service, Finale Pizza is the place to go. Highly, highly recommend!

Amazing experience! The customer service and hospitality were 10/10. We felt welcomed and comfortable. The pizza was great as well. We tried The Hornet and it was just the right balance of sweet and spicy. The desserts were even better. We definitely recommend giving them a try.

We tried the Parma pizza and it was fantastic. Not my favorite mozzarella sticks, but they were okay. The pizza was fantastic, had a nice char and crispy the way it’s supposed to be.
Highly recommend Finale Pizza and look forward to our next time.

No, no, no. I have to admit to being a bit excited about finding a “thin crust” pizza near my new Ballantyne home, having grown up in Brooklyn. Yes, indeed, the crust is thin. However it is also burnt and hard as a rock, tasteless, and equally thinly covered in a sour tasting tomato sauce and cheese. I checked the “light bake” option and still got burnt (charred by any other name is burnt). In order to eat the pizza I had to cut off the crust with a serrated knife and what was left didn’t resemble anything remotely appetizing. My pizza loving 5 yr old took two bites and said “all done”. All done indeed
I would like to acknowledge the rapid and sincere response I received from the manager of this restaurant who actually took the time to call me and express his regrets regarding my experience. This was classy and appreciated.

Phenomenal NYC style pizza and handmade pasta. If you’re a fan of thin crust no flop pizza make sure you check this place out. They also make their pasta from scratch every morning and you can really tell how fresh and full of flavor the pasta is. My personal favorite is rigatoni however I’m vegetarian and the special on the menu had meat mixed into it. The chef said no problem I’ll make you the rigatoni dish with vodka sauce and went the extra mile (which is extremely common here he also will make my pasta spicy with Calabrian peppers upon request). I don’t usually write reviews but this place is amazing definitely check it out if you’re in the area!

Ordered for the first time given the high ratings. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and mozzarella sticks $53. The pizza crust was burned on several slices and folded overl (like it didn’t fit in the box). Mozz sticks tasted like freezer burn, threw them out.
