What a great stop at Putnam County airport! The service was prompt and the menu is decent, offering something for everyone—from breakfast items to sandwiches, salads, and burgers. The atmosphere is unique, especially the nice outdoor seating area where you can relax and watch the runway activity. We recommend this restaurant and we’ll come back soon!

My husband heard about this restaurant that is at the Putnam County Airport. We went on a Sunday around noon. The restaurant was busy, but we got a seat in less than 10 minutes. We got a window seat that overlooks the airfield. Menu was small, but looked to be home made. Our waitresses were friendly, and the food came promptly. We both had breakfast. Food was good, and prices were reasonable. We might have to go back because we did not get to see one plane takeoff or land 🙂

My Favorite restaurant hands down. I have yet ordered a menu item and not been completely satisfied with it. They have a large menu at a very affordable price. We travel from Brazil, Indiana every Saturday because they have a wonderful vegetable beef soup. I usually eat about 3 bowls on one sitting. I REALLY REALLY enjoy this and the chicken and rice is yummy too.

First time eating here. Staff was friendly and prompt. Food was great, I had the liver and onions (one of my favorite) wife had chopped steak and our other couple had the fried shrimp and catfish dinners all very good. Very clean also. Definitely will be going again.

Excellent place. Great food, great people, great location. I used to stop in here multiple times weekly when I instructed at a nearby flight school. They have an entry door from the ramp/airside, so we could land and literally park yards from the door. I still find myself occasionally craving a haystack or a soup from here, but unfortunately the plane I fly now is too big to go into GPC (and the airline it belongs to wouldn’t be very happy either). Maybe one day soon I’ll take a long drive back over there for a meal. Thanks for all the great food and hospitality!

Nice location just a little away from other options. Food was okay with decent prices. Liked the idea of watching planes takeoff and land, but that is probably pretty hit-or-miss at a small regional airport. Asked if we were having dessert and given the bill shortly after getting our entrées.
