Good atmosphere, parking i. This area of Summit always a bit challenging on a nice weekend evening.. we did not partake in the raw bar, but the tuna tartare appetizer was delicious and I enjoyed the swordfish, my wife liked her salmon, but wish it had more spices or a savory sauce.. all in all a very nice dining experience

We were looking for a location to celebrate after my Daughter’s graduation. She wanted Oysters. So this place came up in our search. It had good reviews so we took a chance.
We were not disappointed. The oysters were fresh. All our plates were delicious. Everyone finished their food. We were 11 people and the service was excellent. It was during the day and it was not crowded. Many of us have intentions of returning. It is BYOB. There is street parking or a parking deck behind the restaurant that is not expensive.

Went back to Fin after not having been there in a while. I’m happy to see it’s still as good as always. The oysters (1/2 price on Tuesday) were fresh and the freshly grated horseradish and the frozen mignionette were perfect accompaniments. The spicy cannoli tuna appetizers were outstanding. Entrees of wood-fire grilled orange roughy over escarole/beans and grilled jumbo shrimp over pineapple-mango rice did not disappoint! Our server , Melina, was extremely attentive and professional. Love that it’s BYO.

I’m so mad at myself I waited so long to try this great restaurant! I wasn’t sure how good it was going to be since there were so many mixed reviews! It’s definitely a solid 4 Stars! The menu itself, and the unique flavors each dish had was 5 stars! I didn’t rate it 5 stars because my salmon entree was kinda soft and the skin to it was mushy. That could of been because the salmon was frozen then defrosted. Fresh caught salmon should be firm and the skin to it with a slight crisp. Another reason I couldn’t give it 5 stars is because dinner was served without any forks, knives, or spoons. I had to grab some from the table behind me so we can eat our meals. Clean utensils should always be in place before each course is served. For appetizer we had the bang bang cauliflower and the lobster Mac and cheese. Both are a must order! As I said every dish was 5 star in the flavor department! The bang bang cauliflower came in a delicious sweet chili sauce! The Mac and cheese was rich and decadent just how it should be! I absolutely loved it, and devoured it! For entrees we ordered the swordfish and the salmon. Both had an unique and excellent flavor. I would say the salmon was the best out of both of them, but both were AMAZING! The salmon came in a fantastic sweet Asian bbq glazed sauce! I couldn’t get enough of it! It was that good! The swordfish came in a cilantro-lime vinaigrette which was very tasty! Do not leave without ordering one of their house made desserts! We ordered the walnut bread pudding and the chocolate retro cake. Both were incredible! You can’t go wrong with either one! My waitress Isabella did a great job with describing all the dishes, and helping us decide what to choose! She was very friendly and spot on with her recommendations! The portions here are generous and the prices were very reasonable! I absolutely loved this restaurant, and how each dish was packed with flavor! I highly recommend dining at Fin Raw Bar in Summit!

Great looking restaurant with friendly staff that at times comes across as rushing you. Food was just ok for the price, I don’t mind spending NYC prices for outstanding food but this just didn’t meet up to those expectations. Oysters were good, octopus was ehhh BUT the side that comes with it was great, 7 spice big eye tuna was good, and the Thai rice was ok.

If you like fish, this is the place to be. Nice modern ambiance, great service, good raw bar selections and lots of appetizers. Their specialty is grilled fish on a bed of escarole and cannellini beans. Very good! BYOB, they’ll keep your white wine cold in ice. Few dessert choices, too. Not expensive, considering ther menu.

Delicious food and very attentive and friendly staff! With all things COVID going on, it was nice to enjoy a nice night out in beautiful Summit under the tent with the staff taking turns and working together constantly to take care of us. Very happy with our meals and experience at Fin’s! I ordered the swordfish while my boyfriend ordered the Cod — the miso that they cod was in (of course I tried it!) was very unique! Great place to visit in Summit.

The seafood is good here.
We ordered the seafood tower, and for the additional $30 we added in the lobster
This was by far the best dish and it’s a really good price for the tower of seafood.
We also ordered Grilled Romain Hearts (which wasn’t very good as it tasted like it was just charred Romain lettus – supposedly it’s dressed with Caesar dressing??)
We also ordered the fish tacos, which were really good. They are served street style, is it’s four mini tacos, perfect for sharing. The fish had a good taste and they had a little bit of spice but balanced with pineapple, which put me off before biting in and realizing the flavor combo was spot on.
We also got the calamari, but we’ve been spoiled by other restaurants version so this was just ok.
The one last thing we ordered were the French fries. I love the way these fries are made, super skinny, so they’re nice and crispy! Wish more restaurants did it this way.
The staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable, and if they didn’t have an answer to a question, they would find out the answer and get back to you, very nice.

My wife and I were after some seafood, the menu looked appealing so we went for it. It was a quiet Sunday, we walked right in and were one of maybe 5 tables (a solo diner, a couple two tops, and a couple families of 4).
We ordered the calamari as an appetizer—good but I‘ll never understand places that need to pack fried food into weird vessels for serving, just put it on a plate. For our mains, we had the grilled shrimp (they ranged from U16/20 to a U7, fairly inconsistent given the menu states U7) with escarole and beans (which were fine) as well as the scallops with a cauliflower concoction that looked like dog food (tasted fine).
The shrimp was cooked fine. The scallops had an intense fried sear on one side but was otherwise cooked fine as well.
Our table was cleared from the table by someone working back of house. And from that moment on, our waiter almost refused to speak or interact with us. He stood to talk to another table for a solid 20 minutes, jumped over to another to ask how their food was and completely ignored us. Maybe our check was too small for his liking, maybe he realized we weren’t a fan of his nonsense small talk. Regardless, that’s not how service should work at a restaurant.
Thankfully the other waitress got our check (after we asked) and promptly ran our card so we could get out of that place. We will not return. Such a strange, odd experience. There are better spots in this price range.
