i appreciate filomena’s for accomodating me at such a late hour. i had just finished an exam and i walked in there at some terribly late time and ordered a vegan pizza. they were out of a few of the other toppings and i settled on a sausage pizza. i could barely wait until i got back to my hotel room to eat it! i liked the sausage chunks and the vegan cheese had good texture. if i’m in sanford again, i’ll have to stop by!

Came here for lunch during Spring Break. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and told to sit where we would like. The server promptly took our drink and food order. Our drinks came out quickly as did a basket of bread. As we waited we noticed that they started to get a lunch rush. They only had one server and one person working the counter. So our wait for slices seemed a little long, but not extremely long. I will say the wait was worth it. The pizza slices were hot and delicious. The only negative thing was we all ordered Lunch Specials. I ordered the 2 Chesse slice with drink special. Me being me I asked if I could add one topping to both. I was told “most definitely, but there would be an upcharge”. I completely understood, but was shocked when I saw they charged me the same amount as a full size pizza additional topping for each slice. It was my mistake not to look at my ticket before paying. But then this bump the meal, atmosphere and friendly people will definitely bring us back.

Filomena’s is hands down the most underrated Italian spot I’ve ever been to! The food is absolutely incredible—full of flavor, cooked to perfection, and the portions are super generous. You really get your money’s worth here. From the pizza to the pasta, everything tastes like it was made with love. Their bead and dough have a taste that I’ve never tasted anywhere else! It’s so fresh and is mouth watering at first glance! Not to mention, their sauce is the best I’ve ever had! This makes any of their pizzas and pasta dishes a delightful journey to the tongue!
What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They make you feel like family from the moment you walk in. They’re so warm, friendly, and genuinely care about making sure you have the best experience. Filomena’s is a must stop whenever I’m in town! If you’re debating on whether to visit, don’t wait any further!

It was ” Date Night” with my wife so we thought we would try Filomena’s. I had the Shrimp Alfredo and it had six succulent shrimp. My wife had the Baked Ziti and enjoyed this as well. The ambiance and the service was phenomenal! This is a nice little Italian restaurant in Lake Mary.

First time here with family for dinner and this place is beautiful, the entire atmosphere was nice! Our wine choice Sangue di Giuda , prepared chilled in bucket, appetizer was garlic knots loaded with bacon….To die for coconut shrimp delicious the bread, salad and special balsamic dressing woo breath taking!
Our dinner of choice was : penne alla vodka, chicken Parmesan, chicken Marsala. For each of our dishes, the tastes are alot different then what we are used to, the chicken didn’t have much flavor, the Marsala was very salty, so just maybe a different way they make it unlike many of the others we have tried. Just disappointed spending over $140 +.
We will definitely go back again at some point and try more food!

This place is amazing! My kids said it was the best pizza ever and their new favorite place! I also absolutely loves their pizza! My husband got the lasagna and he said it was really great too! The waitress was fast and so nice! We will definitely be coming back!
Oh and prices are great! Lunch special $4.50 for a huge slice of pizza and a drink!

We decided to try this restaurant for dinner after seeing the many positive reviews from other customers. Very cozy and inviting atmosphere. The service was great! Our servers were Vicki and Raven. We ordered the Scillian Anapasto salad and the medium deluxe pizza. Our food was fresh and delicious. The salad was huge, and we had to share it, as it would have been too much for 1 person. The pizza came out piping hot and loaded with toppings. We plan on coming back again to try their other menu items. They have a nice variety of menu options, even if you are vegetarian. We were very pleased with our dining experience here. I recommend this place if you are ever looking for Italian cuisine. Also found out they have a second location in Downtown Sanford by Lake Monroe

and medium deluxe calzone which had ricotta and mozzarella cheese in it. The food was delicious. One of the best calzones I have had (crunchy and perfectly cooked crust and tasty and abundant fillings-see pic). The medium size was huge (we shared it and had leftovers as well since we had the pork wings too). I would definitely recommend Filomena’s and we will be back soon! Great, friendly service too!
