We had a 90th birthday celebration for our father last Saturday the 17th at Filos. From the first interaction with Sara via email to the very last hug goodbye this was the most wonderful experience for all involved. We had 60 people come from all over to celebrate and EVERYONE raved about the place, the food, the SERVICE (they can’t say enough) the atmosphere, everything. Sara and her team made us feel like family – no stress. If you are having a private event I 100% recommend them. It was by far the best experience. Oh and dad was surprised too so we pull off a good one!!

Such a great experience ! Excellent service very friendly staff ! We enjoyed our burgers and drinks ! Drove an hour to watch a band that we have been following, the bartenders, servers and the owner connected with us and made our night a special memory ! We will be recommending Filomena’s to all of our friends !

What a pleasant experience we had today! When informed that I could not sit at an elevated table, the owner set up another table on a comfortable couch! How kind is that?
I had the pear spinach salad & my husband had the sliced beef wrap & fries. We had an extraordinarily friendly waiter. Food was terrific with one exception: very little pear in my pear-spinach salad . Surprising really.

I had my retirement party here and it was a very good experience. The food was very good. I got to pick what I wanted. They had 4 servers on to cover over 100 people and nobody waited long for their cocktails. My guest raved over everything and all had a wonderful time. A special thank you to owner Sara who helped me in planning and was pleasant every step of the way.
I would recommend Fileminas in a heartbeat.

I recently had an event for thirty people at Filomena’s, it was my second time having one with them, the last one was three years ago, and they’ve only gotten better! Sara was fantastic helping get everything planned and it all went super smoothly. Great price per-person with entree options and a server. When I put together another “Seadog party” it’ll definitely be at Filomena’s again.

The waiter/ bartender was a very very friendly guy. Greeted us and served us everything in a timely manner. The sausage sandwich was delicious. I’ll be back for another one someday! Shrimp cocktail was delicious as well! Nice little place to stop in for a quick bite or drink

Ordered both kinds of gnocchi tonight for takeout and I am disappointed to say the least. Spending $22-25 per “meal” for that portion size is ridiculous. My boyfriend and I spent $50 plus $10 tip for lackluster flavor that left us hungry. We live a decent ways away so going back to question if those are legitimate portion sizes unfortunately was not an option. You can get pesto pasta from Paul’s in Groton for $16.50 and will actually leave you with leftovers. I will say the service was very friendly, and for their sake I hope the dine in experience is better and that tonight was a fluke.
