The best wrong turn on a sister road trip ever. What did we eat? Everything and then got pie to go, that we ate while walking to the car. Already finding an excuse to get lost again to try the other half of the menu. Hamburger steak smothered in gravy and onions with the softest rolls served on the side, best cheeseburger we can remember eating ever, fried mushrooms with the perfect crispy coating (no excess oil exploding when you bite into it), smoked sausage was delicious, and chicken salad that would put your grandmother’s to shame. The coconut sour cream cake had the most moist cake and light airy coconut filling and butterfinger pie not overly sweet, just the right amount of crunch and perfect crust. A table nearby had the cutest kids who were crushing some fish stew. We left fat and happy. And the staff was lovely, all of them!

This is a small town diner that has good cheese burgers, hot dogs, onion rings, fries and more. It is exactly what you would expect from a small town meet up spot to enjoy some good food. If you are passing through or live in the area I recommend trying it out.

Food here is wonderful, great ole country lunch spot. I had a burger and chilidog. Both were outstanding. A lot of people were getting the hamburger steak with gravy that looked fantastic as well. It can be pretty busy during lunch time, so expect a wait. It is worth it though!

Good food, friendly, obviously a local place and those are usually the best! We stopped for a quick lunch while passing through. I left with some peach cobbler after another customer recommended it – it was soooo good! Highly recommend!
