Very nice staff, but EXTREMELY overpriced and not that impressed with the taste. I ordered two coffees and two sandwiches that came to a little over $37!!! Never in my life, and never again. I would have left and found another place to patronize but I was on borrowed time, and new to the area. I will set out earlier next time to have a better tasting experience at a fraction of the cost. There are far too many reviews saying the same thing for this business not to make a change.

Absolutely incapable of making a good matcha only good thing about this place is the overnight oats and the fact that they have a drive thru. But you’ll be disappointed with your drink. I guess another upside would be their matchas are so terrible I’ve decided to make mine at home, so thanks for the inspiration. Also it’s very weird to verbally ask for a tip at the window. Feels a bit manipulative and is very off putting.

I went here for the first time yesterday, and I am definitely going to be coming back! The staff made excellent pastry recommendations to go with my coffee and were very pleasant to talk to as they prepared my order. It was a little bit warm inside, which felt mildly uncomfortable, but they also have a drive-through and I understand 100% that the comfort of the staff who’s working there for several hours a day is a lot more important than how I feel for the 92 seconds I’m standing inside.Overall amazing experience and I will definitely be back!

$6.81 for a less than mid 12oz flavored iced latte?? Absolutely not. There are way too many better coffee shops in Kansas City. I never would return to Filling Station for this reason. For comparison, a 16oz iced flavored (homemade syrup btw) latte at Sway coffee only a few minutes away is $5.32 and the espresso used tastes a heck of a lot better.

Ordered an Americano and overnight oats. From the first sip I knew I was really going to enjoy it. Great, full bodied flavor. The overnight oats were perfectly creamy and delicious. Service was excellent!

There’s not enough good things I can say about this place. Yes, it’s the best coffee in town, but from Brock to the entire staff, they push the entire experience over the top!
I dearly love these people, how they treat the customers and, yes, outstanding coffee and pastries!
I go a few times a week, park and go in, rather than go through the drive up, just to say hi and have fun with the crew.

For several years this has been the best espresso and coffee in town. It is still the same place. Baristas are the most talented and service is great. I’m Italian and travel around the world and this is still my favorite place to have an espresso. 🙂

Their large size is equivalent to a small just about anywhere else (photo included), yet still over $5 for a simple iced coffee. This is one of those places that claims “authenticity” or “originality” so they can up charge you. Worse, it wasn’t good. First time I’ve ever had buyers remorse over a cup of coffee.
