My friends and I all agreed that the food and service is top notch at Filippou’s. I ordered a gyro and it was very tasty. I also bought an eggplant pizza to bring home to my husband and he absolutely loved it. He wished that they were located near us. Our waitress, I think her name is Emily was a real gem.

The food here is good, however the restaurant does have some shortfalls when it comes to delivery. On more than one occasion our order has been transferred to a different location due to a driver shortage. Most recently, our food took two hours to arrive and required us to heat it up in the oven. Unfortunately, they will not tell you your order has been transferred until you call to find out why your delivery is taking so long.
It should be noted that the restaurant does not offer refunds and only offers a credit to your account or for the order to be remade. The credit will only be available at the store that made your order which is further away.
My suggestion would be to let know customers that their order needs to be transferred so that they can decide if they still want delivery, would prefer to pick it up, or cancel the order. I also think that this is unfair to the delivery drivers because if customers are unaware of the transfer they won’t know to increase the tip for the increased distance. Customers should also be made aware of the actual ETA and estimated wait.

Oh my God, the manager Shaun Was unbelievable he greeted us. He was friendly, pleasant welcoming. You don’t see it too often today he served us. He took care of us very very impressive so attentive so intriguing to listen to come to find out he’s Only 20 years old !
The fish and chips was awesome. The chicken wings was so tasty and our son Blake loved his mozzarella sticks and his friend Hathen Love this pizza
I highly recommend everybody to come see Sean either here in North Kingston. He says he’s also down in Wakefield some days.

I stopped by for a quick lunch during my bike trip from Boston down to Narragansett. Portions are huge. I was not able to finish my side salad and could take it with me 🙁 Gyro was tasty. Pictures might not display how tasty it was 🙂 Nice staff. Looks like people are doing take out mostly.

Believe it or not, Filippou’s Restaurant actually had some of the best pizza in town. About a few months ago, there must have been some type of staff change, because the food quality, specifically the pizza, has done a 180! Our orders the last couple of times have been very bad… the pizza we ordered, which was veggie and meat, had RAW dough all throughout. It was deceiving because when we picked it up, the bottom of the crust appeared to be cooked, but that wasn’t the case. Additionally, the cheese pizza we got for the kids was over cooked so bad, it hurt trying to bite down into the crust. Needless to say, we were all still very hungry and upset after spending over $40!! Please turn this around before you continue to lose customers!!!

The food was delicious. My family loved it. It was fun listening to the owner and her son in the back. This place feels like a family run place. I suppose it should, as they have been doing it for 50 years. Check this place out if you like subs and pizza.
