My husband and I have been to Phil Chateau once before for the pandesal and croissant. Both of these on our previous visit were good. The atmosphere is super cute and the staff is generally friendly. We stopped in Saturday for a few desserts. Which is why I’m leaving a review…We love supporting local shop, and I wanted to try something new. The ube oreo cookie was extremely dry, definitely overbaked (dark on the bottom and a burnt taste), and way too much food coloring which gave it a strong bitter taste. The ube pandesal was quite good. However the red velvet cupcake I had, might have been the worst one I’ve had. The icing was good, but the crumb texture was so dry and hard. This should’ve been a discounted cupcake and noted as day old. This was either overbaked, or it had been in the display case for days. I have a culinary background, so it saddened me to see a bakery that has such potential for success service these types of products. With that being said, the pastries are good, but I would stay away from the cookies and cakes. I’m giving 3 stars because everything else was so nice and some of the desserts are good, but others definitely need improvement.

Adorable French-Filipino bakery. Met owner/baker Samantha that was very sweet, and informative. Got 2 croissants, a pistachio baklava and an ube dessert. Croissants never made it out of the parking lot. Delicious! We will definitely be back again to try more. She bakes cakes there as well. Also nice vibe , apparently has live music some days

OMG, the cutest french pastery cafe with an AMAZING caramel macchiato made by the sweetest worker. I dont think I would have known about FiliChateau Filipino-French Pastries had I not been at my dentist next door. Just wanted to share this precious gem for the others who didnt know about this place located across from West Wilson Middle and Stoner Creek Elementary. So delicious and excited to come back for more yummy treats!

They also have a setup for live music…cant wait to find out more about that!

I was very disappointed with the quality of the éclairs. We purchased two at $6 each, and both were not fresh—stale, dry, and with an unpleasant, fridge-burned taste. The filling was not traditional pastry cream but a thick, dry buttercream (see photo), which is highly atypical for éclairs and should be clearly disclosed prior to purchase. Even the chocolate used to decorate tasted really old and stale.

As a baker myself, I expect bakery items to be priced higher than grocery-store products, but I also expect them to be fresh and made properly. Unfortunately, these were not edible and were thrown away. This was especially disappointing from a local business.

This is the best designed, most wonderful little unique bakery in Wilson county!

A wonderful food fusion between Filipino and French. Simply delicious.

On our way out we saw that they have home made ice cream! Wow! I’ll be back tomorrow!

This is the second time I visited the sweet shop. It has such a inviting feel on the inside and the food provided is outstanding. I needed some extra treats for dessert at home so I definitely decided this would be a great option. I will be back!

Cute little bakery/cafe, just needs signage out front! Service was friendly, pistachio baklava pastry was good, and I enjoyed the pecan cinnamon roll, and my daughter liked her cupcake. Great hidden spot for studying or hanging out. Will be back to try their coffees.

Excellent bakery with a variety of interesting choices. Heavy Filipino and French influence. Ube filled Ensaymada was melt in your mouth with just the right amount of sweet with cheese. Cute karaoke set up and art gallery to the side.

Got some really tasty treats from Fili-Chateau! The Pecan bun, chocolate chip cookies, and salted egg and ham (forgot the proper name, it was like a stuffed biscuit) were so delicious. It’s super cute and quaint inside. I wanted to try all the treats, will definitely be back!
