Good fast food Mexican restaurant. Always order the Cheese Enchiladas, which are different in that the cheese inside is not melted all the way, but I have grown to like it, sauce is awesome. Beans and rice are both good.

I have been going to Filiberto‘s on Bell near fries since I moved to Arizona. The food was always delicious. Then one opened up across from Arizona traditions and the first time I went there the food was really good so was the second time it took a break and went back probably about six weeks later And I ordered a chili Verde burrito. It was so salty. I could not eat it and then when I opened it up, I found pieces of Oregon tubes. The meat was tough and didn’t really suit the pork I would find in a chili Verde. I also ordered a tostada Carnitas And it was not good either to top it off. I ordered chips and queso, thinking I was getting a bag of chips and queso dip you know like you order chips and salsa and queso is what I was expecting. Instead I got a box full of chips With a little bit of melted cheese on top of it all in all it cost me $24 I was too tired to take it back and to disappointed to really want to do anything about getting my money back so that’s why I’m writing this review. I do not recommend this place to eat currently. There will have to be a lot of changes done before I even go back. First time here for dinner, and ordered the chimichanga (chicken) with rice and beans. It was quite good, and a huge portion for the price. I liked the beans and rice. The chimichanga was full of tender chicken. They placed a bed of pico de gaio (spelling?) and lettuce with guacamole and sour cream. I couldn’t finish it, and took more than half of it home. To drink I had a fountain Coca Cola that was refreshing. While waiting for my order they had a side station of condiments, and I sampled the pickled carrots that had a spicy ️ kick; and some cucumbers. It reminded me of a traditional restaurant back in Milwaukee by the name of El Cabrito . I had a relaxing time enjoying my dinner. The dining area is clean and has ample seating inside and outside. Bathrooms are clean, and there’s ample parking. Quite a few came in to grab ‘To Go’ orders. There were a few Uber eats; and the drive thru too. It’s 24/7 here.

Honestly, super impressed! Food is fresh and delicious. Very happy with the portion sizes and the salsa is great. Clean location too. Definitely recommend this location over the other Filiberto’s in the area. Yum!

I’ve had the Carnitas burrito before when they first Opened and it was really good, but when I ordered it today and brought it home to eat it, I couldn’t even eat it. I don’t even know what kind of meat it was, but it certainly didn’t taste like pork(Tasted really off) and it was cut in big hunks, which I’ve not had before. What a waste of $12. , I cannot recommend this place based on a burrito I had to throw away…. Totally disgusting! This is the location across from Arizona Traditions.

Easily the best Filiberto’s in Surprise. The kitchen staff is on point, the food tastes great, even relative to other locations closer to the heart of Phoenix. The salsa’s aren’t watered down, and the portions are huge. This was a great addition to the area!
