We have been eating here for years and I thought I left a review a long time ago, but guess I forgot.
It’s a lovely place for the locals and visitors to enjoy fresh made pasta.
Very friendly staff that can explain everything for you. You order from the counter but they will bring the dishes to you when ready.
Our favorites include the pasta with fresh chopped clams, shrimp scampi, and the one that combines spicy Italian sausage and seafood together. Kids love this place too.
The wine store attached to the restaurant allows you to BYOA to pair up with your pasta. Outdoor seating during cool summer eve can be very enjoyable.

I placed an order to go -The Penne con Spinaci – I asked for the gorgonzola cheese on the side. The dish is $20 – no meat just pasta, spinach and cheese. I pick it up and drive home to enjoy my meal with my daughter thinking we could split it. However upon opening it, the food portion is so small it really isn’t even enough for one person and I don’t eat a lot of food. Then I discover that the dish was prepared incorrectly. There was no cheese whatsoever in the dish just parmesan sprinkle cheese (the cheap cheese from the jar you buy at the store) on the side. I called to let them know and had to fight to receive a refund. The manager did acknowledge the chef said he made a mistake. However, in my opinion – the least they could have done was refund the meal and provide a small gift card as an apology for the inconvenience since I drove there and back to my home, wasted time on the phone dealing with the issue and I still did not receive the correct dinner for my daughter and I or enough of it. Therefore, I will not order from them again.

We visited while traveling through the area so we aren’t familiar with this establishment. We liked the variety of food, the service, and atmosphere even though we were unsure of what to expect when first arriving. This restaurant offers full Italian dinners as well as smaller meals and sandwiches. However, it is counter service- you order at the counter and then your meal is prepared in the kitchen and brought to you by a server. The servers were attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our meal and we were back to our travels quickly. Hopefully we get to return again soon when passing through the area.

Loved this place, but I got the clam pasta looked weird, but still ate it and ended up in the ER the next day with food poisoning. Good food, but I don’t recommend seafood or at least the clams.

Awesome experience! Deeply hidden in the back country of New England resides a rare gem. Some of the best Italian food I have eaten outside of Europe in a long time. Ingredients are fresh and marinated to perfection. Stop by for a bite, you will not leave disappointed.

Love Filho’s for both dine-in and take-out! The lobster ravioli is my all time favorite. There is a wine store right next door and Filho’s is BYOB, and it’s so fun to get to go pick out a bottle of wine to have with dinner. Also, in the summer they have outdoor seating and we bring our dog along with us, and the staff is always so sweet and makes sure she has plenty of water! Great place all around.

One of the staff saw that we were confused and kindly instructed us the flow of this restaurant. We had a clam sauce linguine and meatball lasagna. The linguine is great, with an entire layer of clams. They have a different take on lasagna, and we thought it was slightly too much tomato/marinara and too little cheese. We got a half bottle from the liquor store attached, and overall a good and quick experience!

Not bad for take out and nearby. Ordered online. I would expect bruschetta to have diced tomatoes rather than a slice of tomato. So that felt off but over it was tasty. Always crowded and busy so definitely a popular place.

The atmosphere of this place is great. Nice quiet outdoor seating. Servers were also very nice.

The food on the other hand was not as great… ordered garlic bread as an appetizer and it was just sliced up sandwich bread. Optioned for the cheese and that was a mistake. Just was not enjoyable

Entree was eggplant parm which was just ok. Linguini wasn’t bad, and the eggplant was thin and the ends were decently crispy. Just too much cheese and the middle parts were soggy

Got cannolis for dessert and these were pretty disappointing. The filling was basically just whipped cream that kinda tasted like cannoli filling. Definitely do not recommend this dish

This place can definitely improve and hoping it does
