My daughter and I went here for lunch Sunday and it did not disappoint! I have been here before but it’s been like 10 years since my last visit. The staff are friendly and fast and everything we ordered was perfect and quickly prepared. I remembered it being the best humus I’ve ever had, so we ordered that and I am SO glad we did! It’s the only thing we were able to finish and we both took home at least one additional meal from our lunch entres. The salads were nice and fresh, Bismati rice was perfect and the chicken shawarma was perfectly seasoned. The garlic sauce is made with fresh garlic so it had a bite, but was delicious. Highly recommended and we were so happy to support this locally owned business while also satisfying our cravings!! We had no room left for dessert so we got some to go and one for dad and sister too because they looked soooo good! They did not disappoint! We got the chocolate cake, lemon cake, carrot cake and a triple choc mouse cake. All incredible!!!!

We got the meal for 2 with some substitutions, and the lamp chops + the bread were the true highlight of the meal. The lamb chops are consistently tender, and the bread has a nice crust on the outside with a super pillowy inside

This place is always good. We’ve been coming here for years, and never had a bad meal. The dinner for 2 is our favorite, with a few different kebabs, lamb chops, rice, salad, hummus, and the most amazing fresh & hot Turkish bread. The prices are always reasonable, which is a huge bonus these days. If you’re going to be in the area, you’ve got to check out Filfillah. You won’t regret it!

Food was AMAZING. Best food I’ve had in quite awhile. They’re very generous with the portions as well!! Don’t even get me started on customer service, they are sooo sweet and so hospitable. The two pictures are the before and after because it was THAT good. (I got the lamb and beef shawarma).

I was looking for a Palestinian restaurant in my area, for an “evening brunch”, also known as “getting coffee” (but during supper hours in this case). My neighbor and I needed to catch up on life together, and so we chose this restaurant.
I arrived first, even though while we were on the phone with each other moments earlier, she’d accused me of being late! But I digress. It worked out perfectly, actually.
The sun setting cast a warm and comforting glow into the dinning room section where I chose to sit and wait. I may have arrived at evening prayer time, because there were not people standing around which ironically made my experience more authentic to what I would encounter in a predominantly Arab African country like Tunisia, Morocco or Egypt.
I grabbed a couple of menus while waiting for my neighborhood bestie, and by the time she arrived, I knew what I was going to eat. We both walked the menus back to the counter and ordered there. Then, paid, tipped, and got the #7 place-holder for servers to know where to bring our dishes.
I should have ordered sauces and a side of hummus to go with my chicken and rice with bread! I needed the extra moisture, but the food was still very good. Ended up bringing most of it home to share ❣️
The staff was really nice too! I gradually interacted with more people before leaving. Really enjoyed the boisterous “Bye, thank you!”, that was exchanged between the staff and our duo, as we left. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a chill, yet warm spot to ‘plot’. We had a great time and felt comfortable talking about topics that we would have felt self conscious about discussing at a different public establishment.

Best Lebanese bread in town!! Happy they have ayran also. They were out of some ingredients so we had to make second choices, but the gyro was great and the cheese pita pie is very traditional to Turkey which I loved! Baba ganoush was so tasty. Highly recommend! Slightly overpriced, so this is more of a special occasion place for us.

I’ve been coming here for years and it’s time I leave a review. This place serves some of the best halal foods ever. To add, their food is top quality and always fresh. The customer service is amazing — welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is what you’d expect from a local family restaurant— cozy and warm. Definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys authentic arabian/med cuisine at an affordable price. Thank you Filfillah for blessing us with great food here in the TC.
