Fikscue in Mission Bay is an absolute must-try. We ordered the dino ribs, beef cheeks, mac goreng, sausage, and the rendang plate—and every single dish hit. The dino ribs were insanely tender and packed with flavor, the beef cheeks were melt-in-your-mouth good, and the rendang was rich and perfectly spiced. Mac goreng was a fun, flavorful twist, and the sausage tied everything together nicely.
The quality of the food really stands out, and you can tell a lot of care goes into each dish. If you’re in Mission Bay and craving bold, comforting flavors, Fikscue is 100% worth it. Definitely coming back.

Their Dyno BBQ is a must-try! The Nasi Goreng and Mac Goreng were OK, likely better if made fresh instead of buffet-style. The Rujak Slaw, Rendang with kale, Sate Ayam, and Batagor though were all standouts (a must-try!!). I love seeing Indonesian flavors get creative with a Texan twist!

And the setting is perfect. A beautiful view from Chase Center overlooking the bay, nothing beats enjoying BBQ with the sun on your face and that signature San Francisco breeze.

This place is legit. The BBQ is delicious. And all Halal. Honestly id skip the dino rib. Its way overpriced and you are paying by weight which is mostly bone. Definitely get the Beef CHEEKS. That was the best meat. Sausage was great too. Brisket was very juicy as well. The Macaroni was great too.

First time here. I love the meats.

Indonesian sides were a nice and different touch.

We had tried the brisket, ribs, cheeks, and sausage. Def coming back.

Is on the bit pricier side

What a mouth brisket and ribs. Briskets melts in your mouth, super soft and full of flavor. Ribs on other hands have same delicious flavor.Beside BBQ I tried their dish, friend rice and Mac and cheese for kids. I don’t like much of chicken and rise but I vouch for BBQ only.

Holy cow this new BBQ is good. The meat is perfectly cooked and tender with a great smoke ring. The sides are killer, I had the slaw which was fantastic but I want to try them all. They also have a really nice location with lots of seating and beautiful views of the bay. Place is kid friendly and there is a brewery next door for the adults. 10/10 would recommend

July 2025:
Stopped by for dinner and ordered the rendang plate which has slow cooked smoked brisket in coconut milk and Indonesian spices. Flavors were out of this world .

The plate was served with steamed rice, kale curry, a potato fritter, an egg, and chips.

This was my second time here. I had come in May during their soft opening and had brisket, ribs and a few sides (slaw, mac goreng, and coconut rice). Everything was super delicious .

Will definitely be back again for more delicious food!

My wife and I had heard a lot about this place and decided to check it out. We ordered the smoked brisket, dino ribs, Mac Goreng, and potato salad. The food was amazing! My wife, who was born and raised in Texas, thought the brisket was off the charts. The ribs were so tender and juicy, they redefined what “fall off the bone” means for me. The Mac Goreng was fantastic—packed with flavor in a way that’s hard to put into words. The only thing that could have made the experience even better was if the meats had been served warmer. Overall, fantastic food and great service.

WOW. This is some unreal BBQ. We tried a variety of meats from their chicken to their brisket, ribs, and sausage. There were plenty of standouts in our meal!

Special shoutout their sausage which was extremely juicy and flavorful, unlike anything I’ve had before.

The brisket had so much flavor and was so tender. The chicken was also so uniquely flavorful and worth it on its own. Indonesian food is some of my favorite and to see how well it blends with classic American BBQ is awesome. I am excited to come back and try more of the sides.

The owners are so kind and friendly and loving. So happy to know they use halal meat which is both higher quality and more ethical. I feel good supporting their business and will be back next time I visit SF. The location is also awesome – overlooking the Bay with a great view and right next to the Chase Center. 12/10!!

Delicious combination of Indonesian food combined with Texas bbq style meats. I live in Austin and visit SE Asia annually, so am familiar with the two separate styles and really feel Fikscue elevated the combination of both together. Portion sizes are great and it’s a beautiful view to sit and enjoy while eating.
