In short: Wow. Amazing (authentic) tacos and equally amazing service.
Returned from Los Angeles (county) recently and missing legit food from the Mexican communities we moved from, which is hard to come by in NJ. Found this place and we couldn’t be happier with the food and service.
We ordered tacos bistec and pastor. Both were generous portions and spot on with ingredients and flavor. The combination of fresh salsas were also pleasant surprises.
Also, shout out to the owner – we had such a welcoming experience and we’re glad he is bringing this quality of food to Bayonne.
There will definitely be return trips!

I’m so glad we discovered Figuritas! They’re excellent. Friendly family-run. Great food (probably THE best Mexican food I’ve had in the NJ / NY area and I’ve tried a LOT) Super fresh ingredients and excellent prices for the quality and value. We will definitely be back. In fact I’ve already told my boyfriend and best friend and sent food pics!

I had an amazing experience at this Mexican restaurant! The food is absolutely excellent — full of flavor and perfectly cooked. I tried the Chicken Fajita and the Chicken Enchiladas, and both dishes were delicious. The portions were generous, the presentation was beautiful, and everything tasted fresh.
Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic and tasty Mexican food. Definitely a 5-star experience!

I went there with my mom for her birthday and it was amazing when they started us off with the chips and the dip we had to ask for multiple refills how good it was and when we got the food, it was amazing. It has so much flavor and was packed to the brim. It was a very good deal for the price and taste. I got the birra tacos. And the meat was so tender on them and my mom got the fish tacos and shrimp tacos she said she love the flavor and love the portion size and the service was so nice there. They always asked how our food was and if we need anything else. And I’ve almost forgot to mention the place was decorated beautifully and it was clean

Hello my foodies! I went here on a quiet Sunday afternoon. My friend and I were the only ones there at the time. It’s a small place but the decor is nice and the hostess was welcoming and friendly. I wanted to go here because they offer real Mexican corn on the cob, and that’s not offered by a lot of Mexican restaurants. At least the ones I’ve been to so far. I had to try it. It was absolutely delicious and hot off the stove! I had to wait for it to cool down a bit. I also had the quesadillas & pozole to take home, and my friend had the chicken soup, which he said was delicious. On Sunday, the parking is free, so at least you don’t have to worry about the parking meters in Bayonne. You will need to find parking in the street, but it’s worth a stop to taste their delicious food. I will be returning to try other dishes that caught my eye!

Ordered takeout and food did not live up to the 4.6 in reviews. Decided to try a new place and read the reviews and unfortunately it wasn’t worth the $75 of food we ordered. We practically threw everything out. We had 3 dishes, extra side of rice & 2 drinks. The horchata was horrible, tasted like the powdered horchata you get in store. The food had no flavor & there was a hair on our flautas. My kid didn’t even like the rice (he spit it out). Would of loved to support a different mexican restaurant aside from Aguila Dorada, but unfortunately we won’t be ordering from here again.

The carnitas tacos here are the best that I’ve eaten throughout the trip-state. When you take that first bite you find a surprise! They put pieces of pig ears and tripe in their tacos. I know a lot of people might not be big fans but give it a try! My family didn’t like it at first but know… they liked it. Also the price is not bad.

Phenomenal “Authentic” Mexican Food!! Your taste buds will thank you later …. been to this location several times dine in and take outs, service Never disappoint. We ordered the carnitas, steak Tacos ; the Nachos with ground beef; chicken soup for the Kids, all the dishes are……… Delicious. ✌️
