Reviews
The service felt rushed and disorganized. The wine and water were brought separately, and we had to wait for the glasses. The starters arrived quickly and looked quite impressive, but the flavours were rather flat, lacking brightness and depth. With the mussels, we received a plate for the shells that was far too small, and no hand wipe was provided — something that is usually standard with seafood.
The main course — the steak — was the biggest disappointment. It was chewy and dry despite being medium-rare, and it was served already sliced, which caused it to cool down almost immediately. The presentation was minimal: just slices of meat with rocket and Parmesan, without any sauce. When I asked about a peppercorn sauce, the waitress said she would check, but we never received any follow-up.
In the end, we paid almost £140, and the dinner did not meet expectations in terms of either food quality or service.
FIGO is a beautiful restaurant with visually appealing dishes, but the kitchen and the service clearly lack attention to detail, flavour, and overall professionalism.
Good customer services.
Delicious food.
Parking is a bit difficult to find around.
Apart of that will say we are very happy.
If you’re in the mood for a dining experience that brings the warmth and flavour of Italy to your table, look no further than Figo. Born out of a passion for authentic Italian cuisine, Figo serves up hearty portions, a welcoming atmosphere, and an array of classic dishes that transport you straight to the streets of Italy.
We recently visited their Brentwood branch for a family dinner, and it was an absolute delight!
To kick things off, we indulged in two must-try starters: the Melanzane alla Parmigiana, a rich and comforting baked aubergine dish that has become my personal favourite, and the Gamberoni alla Diavola – succulent king prawns served in a spicy tomato sauce, paired perfectly with a slice of fresh, homemade bread. The flavours were bold, authentic, and simply irresistible.
For the main course, my wife opted for the Filetto di Manzo, and the beef was cooked to perfection – tender, juicy, and full of flavour. As for me, I couldn’t resist the Pizza Piccante – topped with spicy chorizo, pepperoni, jalapeño, mozzarella, and finished off with a perfectly cooked egg. It was the ultimate combination of spice and comfort, ticking all the boxes for a pizza lover like me!
And just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, the desserts arrived. Let me tell you, no matter how full you are, you must save room for them – they are the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal.
From the welcoming service to the beautifully prepared dishes, Figo has become our go-to spot for Italian cuisine. If you haven’t tried it yet, make sure you do!
