First time visit, walked in the front door and got hit by a pungent smell. Got a table as far from the front door as we could but the smell lingered throughout the entire service. Staff acknowledged it but didn’t know what it was from. My wife and her friend ordered the mussels, told the server she was allergic to meat asked for no sausage and her friend is a pescatarian, halfway through the muscles they realized there was bacon in there. Entrees looked good as they came out. My wife has the crab cakes and while she enjoyed them, they did have a bit of excess filler in them, for the price you would expect almost all crab. I ordered the game dish, but then was told after a few minutes they were out of elk, I asked to replace the protein with pork chop, which they could but now they were out of asparagus. They asked me how I would like the pork chop prepared and I said a little pink in the middle, pork chop came out well done borderline starting to be a little dry, also the quality of the pork was just par. Our friends meals look good, one got sea bass which my wife tried and said was excellent, the other got the filet with grilled shrimp, steak was good but the shrimp were overdone. Be prepared, this is an expensive restaurant. I hope if I come again, I’ll be able to give a better review.

First time trying g Figaro The Dining Room. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere! My partner and I split the Pasta w/Shrimp and had the Beignets for dessert. Both were excellent – the pasta itself could use a little more salt in the cooking water; the beignets were slightly undercooked, suggest lowering the temperature of the oil and cooking a little longer. I lived in New Orleans for thirteen years and ate A LOT of beignets! We will definitely be back.

Disappointing, limited menu a bit pricey had the Bison and 8 oz Filet, meats were good, Filet rub was a bit much and the sides of lumpy mashed potatoes wouldn’t melt butter. No bread…cocktail options very limited so one and done…won’t be on my favorite list

After being away for a year the place hasn’t changed a bit. Still amazing. Christopher served us and even remembered what my wife drank. It is well worth the drive to stop in and try one of there meals. It will take you by surprise.

Our group had crab cakes, lamb pops and pork chop, all of which were excellent. The charred salad was superb. Service was great. Wife’s cosmo reported as great; our wines were excellent. Been coming every so often for five years; consistently good service and high quality.

A dinner of crabcakes and sea bass with desserts of crustless cheesecake and blueberry sauce for the husband and warm bourbon pecan pie with a side of vanilla ice cream for the wife was sublime. As if that wasn’t enough to be the perfect night out, we had the best server. She was informative, friendly and funny and her timing throughout our dinner was spot on. We look forward to returning when we visit the area again.

We were looking for fried chicken but found this cute, cozy, and historic site on our drive, called Newberry.
Figaro was the perfect place to stop for lunch
The service was great. I had the Chicken Biscuit, it was great, and I had my fried chicken craving satisfied!

Well this was definitely one of those places that you never know how it is until you step inside. I was just looking for a quick bite to eat and stumbled on this place. Boy what a surprise. I was the only one in the restaurant and they had just switched to the dinner menu. I ordered pork chops and mashed potatoes. Man oh man the pork Chop was so thick and tender and the mashed potatoes were made from scratch. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING was so so good. I was taken by surprise it was delicious. I will definitely be back again.
