Fig Bistro was a very delicious! The potato bacon soup was pretty flavorful and a bit different then potato soup that I’m used to – less chunky and more smooth. The market fish was a trout was delicious with more of a citrus taste. The salmon was tasty with a bit of a lighter buttery flavor. The apple tart dessert was very good as well! Our waiter was very attentive. The place was smaller but comfortable.

I had a wonderful time with my mother and boyfriend eating at Fig!
They even went out of their way to make me a delicious Mocktail!
Great environment, great staff, great food!
Our food was so good that we actually all ended up sharing because we all wanted everything off of each of our plates!!

Stop by for a quick lunch, but it was anything but quick. There were about four tables with people when we arrived, which did look like much. The inside was very small but the decor was nice. I ordered a sweet tea to drink, which was not sweet at all. It tasted okay considering. For lunch, I ordered the chef special potato and leek soup with a Caesar salad. It took quite a while for our order to come out. I didn’t like any of the dishes. The soup was very bland. There is no seasoning and very little flavor. The salad was made with the worst parts of the romaine lettuce the light colored hard parts and the dressing was sour. Was very disappointed on the food. The service was mediocre but not terrible. They seemed like they might be having trouble with another table that took their attention away. All in all I would not recommend this place. I might give it another try in the future.

Popped in without reservations but they were able to squeeze us in after a short wait. Staff is very friendly and approachable. Dining room is small but light bright and airy. Menu was interesting and we all tried something different. My sister said the burger was one of the best she’s ever had and we are from Texas! Mom and I had the parsnip apple soup and celery salad. Absolutely one of the freshest most flavorful light lunches I’ve ever had. Delicious!

We stopped in at Fig on a through trip from the mountains to Concord and man… this place was an absolute delight. The atmosphere is wonderful – a work of art itself. The folks were so friendly and inviting. The food was . Absolutely amazing dishes. We had the tuna sandwich and Reuben sandwich which had us both feeling very good. Definitely recommended for all reasons! Visit!

Outstanding! 5 stars is not enough. I will have to start by congratulating an exemplary staff… all of them. We were inspired by the genuine interaction with the employees here. I would visit again just for the conversation. The kitchen even returned smiles and even under the pressure of a full house and one very large party, they performed like a very well tuned machine.
The atmosphere here is quite intimate. It is a small space with limited seating. I would recommend making reservations in order to ensure that you get the opportunity to enjoy this gem in the Biltmore Village.
They have a great wine and cocktail selection as well as locally crafted beers.
The food was decadent. Every aspect of each of the dishes we ordered was perfection. I ordered an uncommon delicacy, sweet breads, with my fingers crossed: 1) Because it is an ingredient many are apprehensive about. 2) Because it is extremely rare for it to be prepared properly. 3) Because my wife was trying it for the first time. Many thanks to the local, distinguished gentleman seated beside us who reassured me that the sweet breads were as good as those he has had in France. Note: the sweet breads were a special appetizer so please don’t expect them to be on the menu. I just thought it prudent to say that if they can pull off sweet breads this well; it speaks to the skills of the kitchen. Our entrees were equally as exceptional. The scallops were hard seared on one side and this delivered an exquisite crust and a perfectly cooked body… best scallops ever. The pork tenderloin was recommended by a local shop owner and it was melt in your mouth delicious.
This short essay doesn’t do justice to the quality of food and service we had at Fig. You will just have to experience it for yourself.

The wait time was almost 30 mins for a salad and a burger. Which is ridiculous. But the burger and truffle fires were great. I would definitely recommend them. The ceasar Salad was very bitter. The potato leek soup was very bland. The sweet tea wasn’t sweet. Friendly staff. My main knock is the wait time.

Wonderful food, service. We had a tuna appetizer which was excellent, ribeye, bolognese, salmon, panna cotta, pot de crème. Everything was perfect, I would recommend.

This place is GOLDEN. Every dish served at our table today was absolutely delectable, our service was immaculate, and the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. Between the three of us dining, we had their salmon, the duck breast, and mussels. Each individual plate was to. die. for. Anytime we’re in Asheville again, we will be coming back to this bistro.

World class service provided by Erin. She was all over it…refills before I could even think of it… Located in the Biltmore Village and even open on a Monday! Was originally skeptical to order the chicken with black-eyed peas and okra. So glad I did, it was excellent. Not sure how they did the okra but it was perfect. (Thinly sliced and perfectly seared/pan fried) Black-eyed peas had a mustard sauce that was incredible. Salad as all main courses had a beautiful play presentation. Piled high with scrumptious greens. Wonderful Gorgonzola dressing.
