5th street Bagelry is the best breakfast spot and bagels are wonderful. My wife and I drive 55 minutes just to enjoy the breakfast and coffee.

We highly recommend sitting down and enjoying the atmosphere and great coffee.

Great place for bagels and coffee! Lots of varieties of cream cheese- bagels and coffee options. We will definitely be back to try more options! There were lots of different toppings you could add and create your own favorite bagel sandwich. Highly recommend!

If you’re in town like we were give this local spot a try. The “NRG” bagel was to die for and the house favorite “Elvis” compliments it beautifully. Would’ve loved to give a higher rating but the staff wasn’t very “welcoming” to guests.

Very limited parking / 5⭐ bagels / good spot for hanging out or casual dates
First of all the food was really good as far as bagels go. You can choose any bread and then the style of bagel you want. You can also choose 3 veggies. They also include a pickle on the side.
You HAVE TO try the 7 layer coconut block at least once. It’s really sweet and amazing.
The service was very friendly and helpful.
The parking is very limited. As far as I could tell there were like 5 or 6 spots.
Apparently it’s super busy between 12 and 1. We went around 3 and there were only a couple people there.
The atmosphere is chill, so it would be a good spot to chat with friends or talk with a date.

Fifth Street Bagelry: Local Legend and Must-Try Bagels (5/5 Stars!)
Fifth Street Bagelry isn’t just another bagel shop; it’s a true neighborhood institution. This spot is genuinely unique—you can tell immediately by the line out the door that it’s locally well known and beloved for good reason. It captures that perfect, bustling, morning-rush energy that feels both familiar and exciting.
The food here is simply delicious. Every bagel is baked to perfection: perfectly chewy on the inside with a crisp exterior. They have a fantastic variety, but if you only try one thing, you absolutely must order the bacon Gouda on the jalapeño bagel. The combination of the smoky, salty bacon, the creamy Gouda, and the little kick from the jalapeño bagel is pure breakfast perfection.
Beyond the food, the service is good—fast, friendly, and efficient, which is crucial when they’re busy (and they always are!). The staff handles the flow of customers expertly, ensuring you get your fix without a long wait.
If you are looking for a bagel that rises above the rest and a chance to experience a true piece of local culinary culture, Fifth Street Bagelry is the place to be!

5th Street Bagelry has some of the best bagels in town— The place smells amazing the moment you walk in, and their menu has plenty of great options.
That said, they consistently mix up my order. Whether it’s something simple like not toasting it when I ask for it toasted or giving me the wrong bagel entirely, and it happens every time I do an online order or call it in. The staff is super friendly and the environment is great. I would just love it even more if I got the correct bagel. 🙂

The food and drinks here are always top tier!! Anytime I order here I get the Eggs Florentine with pesto and ham added. They never forget my add-ons, and they always provide fresh, hot food. The portion sizes are fantastic especially for their very reasonable prices!! They staff are always very quick and polite,

Visiting from out of town and glad I chose this place on Maps. Sincerely the best tuna salad sandwich I’ve ever had, on Parmesan. Stairway to Heaven iced coffee was yummy and not too sweet. Very busy at noonish so not enough parking – parked next door at Idaho Central. Their parking area is one-way so don’t enter off the side street like I attempted to do.

We came here for breakfast on Saturday and the bagels are the best I’ve ever had. They are even better than Einstein bagels, they are so fresh and have great flavor and texture. I ordered the egg Florentine breakfast sandwich on Asiago and it was delicious. We also got a half dozen consisting of the Asiago, blueberry, and cinnamon toast with the strawberry smear and those were all very good. The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean and welcoming.

Very delicious bagels with a wide variety of cream cheeses and bagels to choose from! I had the egg Florentine which had the most amount of toppings and flavor! I wish more of the choices on the menu had meat too, but the prices were very fair.
The environment was cozy but a little crowded for me, and though service was quick, not many of the workers seemed thrilled or happy to be there…but maybe that’s because it was a busy Sunday morning.
Food was tasty though, and I would eat here again if passing through!
