This was a wine dinner. It seemed that this may have been their 1st wine dinner. The table was beautiful; the dinner very good..though there could be a few improvements regarding some course composition. The wines were good and the pours generous. The wait staff covering the large group( +/- 19 guests) were very attentive. The dessert was FABULOUS! After dinner we were then given a copy of the menu (which previous to this point we did not receive,) along with the wine price list for wines served should we want to purchase. Then it took over 30 minutes to get the bill to each group and all of us became a bit anxious to leave, as it was getting late.
Overall I would return as the food was delicious. Hopefully by then their end servicing will have improved.

What two years have done to this restaurant. Forget about coming here if you’re local. Parking garage is accessible by hotel key only unless you know you can buzz the front desk. Once in the garage, you pay to park unless you’re willing to park in the back which creates a very long walk to the hotel entrance. We weren’t aware of this initially & got lucky finding street parking half way close. Getting into the hotel from the parking garage requires buzzing the front desk again to get into the elevators, which again we weren’t aware of.
So, if you’re local, forget about this place. It’s designed strictly for hotel guests. We were here on a Thursday evening & the place was almost empty.
The food was decent. The lobster roll was very good, but the goat cheese terrain was a disappointment. Nothing close to the way it used to be made.
Happy hour has been illuminated as well. Our waitress was surprised a local was there. lol.
This hotel is set up for guests only.

The food is very very good considering how affordable most of the menu items are. We have always had really great service, and their wine list is really excellent. As an added bonus, the lighting and seating is very well thought out. None of those horrible high top tables that everyone hates. 10/10!

Located in side Axis Hotel- This place is super cute with such a fun, upscale vibe! We went on a Monday and it wasn’t busy, which made it even more enjoyable. The drink menu has lots of creative options, and the food was delicious. Service was fine—not bad, but nothing memorable. The atmosphere was definitely the highlight, though the fruit flies buzzing around our drinks were a bit annoying.

The burger and side salad were absolutely beyond tasty. The beef was fresh and well seasoned. The server was customer friendly offering crowd favorites, and checking to make sure you were satisfied. The best part of the meal was the White Russian Parfait that was decadent, and full of layers of chocolate with a brownie at the bottom. The prices were above average but worth the value as you enjoyed the upscale quiet environment.

Have eaten here before and it’s been great. Moved to Florida and came back for a visit and was treated so well by Richard the bartender. Made amazing drinks and was so fun to talk with and made the night fun. Will definitely be back every time I come back. His drinks are one of a kind!

So many wrongs in so many ways.
The food, the portions, the service??

I had asked the waiter several questions including the petite filet. She told me it was a chicken, it was steak. We had then ordered the chicken, it was cooked to the point of being inedible due to it being so hard. They had gotten us a steak to correct this, we had asked the steak for medium well, the steak was cooked raw. The server constant took the silverware and not replacing it unless asked, and did not ask to refill out waters.

The atmosphere was reminiscent to a McDonald’s with low lighting, a bar, dollar tree decor, and a Hefty price tag. $125 a person for a whole 5 course. Portions were extremely small, which I can understand, if the atmosphere and experience had made up for this.

Don’t even get me started on the parking as well, it was awful!!

Several other dates did not expect this and had left as well, there was no expectations set for as well.

The drinks are priced at a bearable price.
The salmon I will say was very dry.

I am very sad, if I wanted this type of experience I would have just spent my Valentine’s Day at a Texas Roadhouse and saved myself some money.

We’ve been to the 5th Avenue Syndicate several times and have always had great food and service, but the last two visits were very disappointing. I ordered a filet medium rare, and it came out medium. The server took it back, but the replacement came out raw in the center. I spoke to the manager, who apologized and offered dessert, but that didn’t make up for not getting the main meal I ordered. I refused to eat it because it was raw, and while they didn’t charge me for the steak, I still left hungry. After this happening twice in just a couple of months, I most likely will not be returning. The photos posted are from another time when we had a great food experience. No photos were taken on the last visit Aug 2025.

I’m not sure if this place is under new management but the first time my steak was not cooked right a female manager made sure it was right and made sure our experience continued to be a pleasant one. They recovered nicely and we continued to have a great time and came back. However, this last time the male manager seemed annoyed that I was making a complaint and did not give me a great feel for this restaurant to come back to. When I will be spending $$$ I expect a steak done to what I ask for.

Went here with another couple, between us we tried the rib eye, strip, filet and salmon. All the steaks were cooked perfectly as ordered, and the sides were hot and tasty. We tried the deviled eggs and wings as appetizers, they were both very good.

To make dining here fit the quality of the atmosphere and food, they need to train their staff on timing, clearing plates before bringing the next course, opening wine, refills of water, etc. More than once we had to ask others to find our server.

This place has potential, nice atmosphere, great food, just need to up the service.

Went to eat on Valentine’s evening was very excited to try it. They had a very limited menu had no choices to choose from.
I love trying new experiences and do not mind paying money for good food. The food was OK. The portions were very very small. We each had the meal and one drink and with our tip was $400 for two people. We are not big eaters but we were still hungry when we left. . Hopefully, if it’s not a holiday, it will be a better experience!
