The restaurant has new ownership and their renovations have created an awesome atmosphere; you just wanna hang out. It was too cold for the patio to be open but this is going to be a fantastic summer spot across from the lake (and it’s right next to an ice cream shop )
We had Service with smiles all around, despite a packed restaurant. Delainey was terrific and made sure we didn’t run dry
Everyone had a good time and thoroughly enjoyed their food. They have a fantastic menu. 5 Stars. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back
The price was reasonable as well.
The only reason I’m not giving 5⭐s is because I was freezing the whole time even with a sweatshirt and boots on.
I’ll be back, but not until they let up on the thermostat or warmer days.
It made me think of some of the shady servers I’ve worked with who pocket money and make rules up as they go. But good for them, I guess. I’m always down for a good laugh on vacation. The pizzas flavor was spot on- but if you are from
An urban area, you’d consider their pizza closer to a thin crust. Also, as an experienced server, I would have suggested a specialty pizza to save on the $8 up charge, but most people aren’t me, and would rather see a higher bill because a $6.30 15% gratuity is better than $5.10. Hustle life is real at the Fife Lake Inn. Probably a good place to work.
My wife and I were excited to try the, NEW, OLD, FIFE LAKE INN and we’re not disappointed!
She had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It was so large it hung out 2″s in every direction from between a soft fresh brioche bun, perfectly dipped and seasoned, crispy coating on the outside and the chicken breast was tender and juicy. Topped with crispy lettuce, sweet spicy pickles and a delicious remoulade sauce.
I selected the mushroom and swiss smash burger. Here’s where they lost a point for me. I ordered grilled onion and received raw, which was fine, I like both but they were just off on order accuracy. Same delicious bun, plenty of mushrooms and I asked for jalapeno and there was plenty of freshly sliced peppers as well.
We also ordered the White fish dip as an appetizer, super delicious but I’ll deduct half a point here as well because the toast points though delicious were very chewy, they could use a little more toastyness.
And we both really enjoyed the natural cut fries that are served with the sandwiches and they came out nice and crispy just like we ordered them.
ALMOST forgot to mention, you have to try the queso!! Super yummy.
