Lunch was fast and tasty. Guacamole wasn’t all that impressive… but the sangria and cheesecake deserts were very good. Spanish is the primary mode of communication at this place but they are pretty good at accommodation for English speaking guests. Lunch prices were pretty good. Definitely recommend stopping in for the Sangria and cheesecake desert.

Food was amazing and service was impeccable. The drinks were never empty and the waiter made sure we understood menus items. The art work was very cool and it seemed like everything was hand painted! I will say the lighting at the table could have been turned down a bit as it was really bright.

Can’t go wrong with this restaurant! Such a big menu to chose from. Authentic Mexican food, fast seating, the margaritas are amazing, server was very friendly, and big plates of food.

I went in there for a quick bite for lunch on December 22nd 2017. I was amazed on the completed make over of the F.O.H. and Dining Areas.
(Much better than previously owned restaurants that attempted to serve food there!)
The brightly colored traditional authentic decorations welcomed us upon entering and the place was spotless. Staff was friendly and professional,and food came out quickly. I had a shredded beef chimichanga, with white queso sauce and guacamole with rice & beans and lettuce and tomatoes we’re a nice touch. I will definitely be back with my husband =)

Nice fresh new Mexican restaurant and bar Fiesta Tequila not associated with Fiesta Cancun!!!! Great food and tasty margaritas which happened to be on sale when we went!! Started off with tasty Sala and fresh chips accompanied with $3.99 homemade margaritas/my wife loves the flavors but they also have original. I ordered The Grande Wich is a combination of everything they offer and my wife got the Seafood Chimachangas/we both enjoyed it meals and even brought some home!! I can’t forget Pedro and the staff they were quite fun and friendly!!!! It’s Cinco De Mayo. We got seated quickly, got our first drinks and put in our order. Been a half hour and haven’t seen our waitress except to take an order for a table near us waiting 20 minutes to order. She then walked past us without checking on us. Drinks are empty, realized one glass is badly cracked, chips and salsa been gone a while….people walking out. Did they not expect to be busy on one of the most busiest American-Mexican holidays? Terrible service…bad preparation. Too bad, seems like it could have been a successful place. Another 15 minutes have passed since writing this..still no waitress. About 20 minutes later, here comes a Manager with our food. After a brief complaint he says he is short on staff and can get us a couple beers, but not another mixed drink because it ll take to long. As he walks away, we touch our food, its all ice cold. Nope, not gonna get us sick. We got up as he walked towards us carrying the beer, I explained we were leaving. Won’t return. PS, still never saw our waitress, guessing she was cooking too.

I’m pretty sure this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant.
After initially being seated it took ten or more minutes for our server (who didn’t ever tell us her name) to ask if we would like something to drink. I ordered our appetizer at the same time since we had plenty of time to choose one. It took several more minutes to receive the drinks and guacamole that we ordered. My drink was already half melted by the time I got it.
We had already finished our appetizer and drinks by the time the server came back to ask what we wanted for our main dishes.
We ordered two simple dishes without any modifications… It took them an hour to bring out our order of two steak tacos and an enchilada plate with rice. We had empty glasses and didn’t see our server for the entire time. We almost left…
Right as we were getting up to leave our cold dried out tacos arrived. And my cold enchilada plate arrived. We were not given any utensils to eat with or napkins. And were not asked/offered another drink and the server walked away before we could request either.
While the food looked good it was disappointing from being cold and the enchiladas were bland. It was dry chicken smothered in boring ranchero sauce.
The server was absent, the food was awful and we spent nearly 3 hours trying to be patient and wait for them to fix things and improve service.
The weren’t very busy so there’s no reason our food should have arrived so late and cold.
Next time I’ll skip the inconvenience and make it myself or go to one of the Mexico restaurants in the area that are actually amazing and care to keep people coming back.

My goal was to find a locally owned restaurant while I was in Rockford. This looked local, Mexican and they did sell margaritas. Everything was great. The only minor issue was the bar itself. The chairs are short or the bar is high. I’m average height for an adult guy, I felt like my plate and whatnot was really at about shoulder or arm pit height.
